This brand new town home is in the heart of stoudtburg village.
Inspired by medieval European towns, Stoudtburg Village was the brainchild of Adams town entrepreneur Edward D. Stoudt, whose businesses include Stoudt’s Black Angus Restaurant and Stoudt’s Brewing Co.
In 1994, following one of his many trips to Europe, Stoudt decided to build a German hamlet where shopkeepers could live and operate businesses all in one quaint place.
“It’s as things were in the old days, when there were mom-and-pop stores and the family lived above the shop,” Stoudt said. “Europe is still that way.”
Established in 1996, the privately owned village is comprised of 42 Old World-style buildings which feature shops — usually about 400 square feet — on the first floor, topped by 1,800 square feet of modern living space on the second and third floors. A two-car garage is in the back of each structure.
Stoudtburg Village has become a destination in itself. There are more than 20 businesses, including art galleries, a wine shop, gift shops, boutiques, a hair salon, an old-fashioned sweet shop, an authentic English tea room and — the hub of the village — a coffee shop.

Reviews for this vacation townhouse rental in Adamstown, Pennsylvania
Spring City, PA USA
Amazing customer service and a beautiful stay

We made a special request to get into the bed and breakfast early because we rented it for our wedding and needed to get ready for photos. An extra housekeeper was brought in (at no charge to us) to make this happen and they did! The place was immaculate and gorgeous, we loved everything about it and will definitely be back for our one year anniversary!

definitely better than a bed and breakfast

We had a wonderful time in Pennsylvania and were thrilled to stay at this townhouse, rather than at a hotel. The space was large, clean, and well equipped. We appreciated being able to hang out downstairs, once we put our children to bed. We were a perfect distance to various attractions too. It would be nice if the television was in the living room rather than in the bedroom, but otherwise we were quite impressed. We will be back again some day.
Perfect for our family of 5!

We had an excellent stay at the "Better than a bed and breakfast" location on our vacation this year. There was plenty of room, stocked full of items we'd need for our stay and everyone was pleasant to work with. In fact the only down side to the entire trip was the master bedroom curtains. The very bright sunlight came shining through as early as 5AM! Would have liked to have some options to block out some of that. Other than that, perfect and we would definitely stay again!! So much better than a hotel!!!

Unique and lovely home!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely and relaxing vacation home. There was plenty of space even though we were quite a large group. The home is clean and inviting. Located in a quiet and very cute village neighborhood. Has everything you need in a vacation home. We would definitely stay here again.

The property is very nice with plenty of room. Kitchen well stocked with dishes/pans. Caretaker was extremely nice when I contacted him on day of arrival. No TV in the townhouse and since it rained on one of our days, teens were quite bored. Villiage was a disappointment...it was a ghost town and we never saw people and only 2 shops were open while we were there. Location was prime for what we wanted to do in Pa. We were able to get to Lancaster and Hershey without difficulty. Overall, great place to stay and I would stay here again.
what a great afordable gettaway we had with family and friends! i have already booked my next stay!!
my sisters and my mom and i had a week end here and we loved it. the amish country was delightful and the shopping awsome. the village looked right out of a dickens storybook.
