Recently renovated, the apartment has 5 m (16 ft) high ceilings and consists of three bedrooms, a living room, kitchen/dining room, and a bathroom and separate toilet.
Quiet and sunny, the apartment is within walking distance of all Beaucaire's attractions, from the picturesque ruined castle to the lively canal promenade. Relax in one of the cafes in the old Square just around the corner and walk through narrow cobbled streets to a variety of shops, restaurants and open-air markets.
Beaucaire is the gateway to Provence and Camargue, at the crossroads of the Rhône and a canal, with a lively marina. Great location in the "golden triangle" between Avignon, Arles and Nimes. Attractions include Roman amphitheaters, castles, medieval villages, Van Gogh landscapes, open-air markets and boating. Walking distance to river, canal, castle, cafes, shops, markets, restaurants.
We'd just like to say that your flat was brilliant and exactly what we wanted with regard to location, size, comfort, etc., etc. (and let's not forget the price - though perhaps I shouldn't have said that!). We were very impressed by the fact that it looks just like the photos, what you see is most definitely what you get... We hope that our first stay in your flat will not be our last. We were both of the opinion that it was the best holiday flat we've ever stayed in, and we would recommend it to anyone without reservation.
The wall hangings are fantastic by the way.
As soon as we've worked out our plans for next year we'll be in touch. (March 2005)
We are a family of 4 (15-year old daughter, 10-year old son). We just (June 2004) spent a lovely week in Beaucaire as part of a longer trip. It was the nicest vacation rental unit I have ever rented. The beds were new and comfortable (and my daughter loved having her own room, not usually true on our vacations), the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils (we largely ate by shopping locally and cooking in the apt; the shopping was itself an education for the kids), the computer made everyone happy. We had rented a car for the week (parking is not a problem in Beaucaire) and from Beaucaire, we kayaked under the Pont du Gard, and visited Nimes, Arles, Les Baux, and Avignon. It was quite a successful trip.
