Very comfortable for a family of four!

The cabin is exactly as described. First impression is that it is much smaller than expected, but upon entering and seeing the back area, you'll find that there is ample room. I could see really utilizing the outdoor spaces out back in warmer months. As the days were mild and the nights were cold, the combination of the wall heater near the bedrooms and the wood stove at the front of the cabin made for a cozy atmosphere inside and did not afford us the opportunity to make use of the spacious backyard, deck, and sunroom. The only negative was out of the owner's control: lack of snow! As mentioned the bedding and towels were included. Paper towels were low and we could not find any trash bags, so you might want to bring those, just in case. Also, make sure that you check to make sure that the refrigerator is plugged in, as everything is unplugged for safety. The bedrooms were a bit small, but you're only there to sleep, right? Also, if you're looking for a tub, this isn't the place. We did not use the stove, as there are many restaurants, with the Village on the far end of town being maybe 10-15 minutes away, max, and many more places to eat in between. The ski areas are also nearby. As mentioned by others, communication with the owner on making the rental happen, as well as explanation of the deposit is very easy.

The cabin was exactly what we expected. The price was excellent and the owner was easy to work with. We just needed a base camp to come back to between Jeep trails, it worked out great.

Stayed with friends for 2 nights. The cabin has everything you need! (dvd player, toilet paper, towels, linens, utensils, pots & pans, plates, even wine glasses!) Very cozy and ample space. The only thing is that the bed was springy... my stay was great otherwise! The owner was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommended!

The only problem I had with this cabin is that I did not want to leave. More than ample space, towels, kitchen needs. Very cool sun room. Would recommend this cabin to anyone.

This cabin was perfect for me and my friends for the weekend! It was close to everything we needed, not to mention Snow Summit and Bear Mtn! Right when you walk in, it feels like home. It comes fully equipped with everything we need (bedsheets, cooking pans, a dvd player, a fast working heater! etc.). The grill in the backyard was great for BBQ-ing our food, and the owner is so easy to communicate with. Overall, he made the trip exactly what we wanted by offering us such an amazing cabin for an affordable price! I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to spend a weekend in Big Bear. I know I would certainly love to come back!
