Reviews for this vacation cabin rental in Boone, North Carolina

We greatly enjoyed our long weekend at this cabin. It was very clean and organized. We loved sitting on the deck overlooking the river in the mornings, and kayaking the river in the afternoons.

The home is very welcoming, and my children quickly went to select "their" rooms - my oldest son enjoyed the private top deck for relaxing. We all loved the location - spectacular mountain and New River views, with a forest canopy full of finches, indigo buntings, cardinals, and gorgeous flycatchers (one is nesting under the deck). We spent most of our time drinking wine on the main deck, playing charades with the children and being lulled by the river. The kitchen was stocked with all we needed to make a fantastic dinner, and the artisan mugs inspired the best coffee - ever! At first, the kids were disappointed to not have internet or cable tv, but after bonding through games, family stories, and trips into the river, they agreed it was a benefit NOT to have internet/cable tv. We'll be back again when we can stay longer.
Great Riverfront Cabin

The cabin was great with a beautiful river in the backyard. My questions were answered right away. The cabin is in a quiet place away from neighbors but winter attractions and markets are a close drive. The only thing missing is internet. Simply wonderful :-}
This has been one of the best vacations. This is a lovely cabin and I would definitely recommend this to friends.

Have been continually amazed by the beauty of the surrounding mountains, forests and waters; and just as amazed by the beauty and convenience of the home! The weather was reasonably warm (50s up to 60 degrees during the day), which allowed us to thoroughly enjoy ourselves outside by the river. We are looking forward to a chance to come for a longer stay in the late spring early summer. Thank you!!
P.S. We absolutely loved how everything was labeled!!

We had a great time! There were seven of us that went skiing and we had beautiful weather. The cabin was wonderful. Thank you again!

We had a great time at your cozy cabin. Everything we needed was available. The weather was perfect, except for missing snow. We enjoyed the pit by the river and had good times in the hot tub. We did some site-seeing (Boone-Banner Elk-Sugar Mountain-the Hebron Loop and Appalachian Skiing.) Thank you for sharing your cabin by the river.

P.S. King Street and Main Street in Blowing Rock are lovely during the holidays.
Amazing good time! So many great Christmas memories made. Thanks for a well stocked and beautiful cabin.

I just want to say that we really enjoyed the stay. The cabin was great! Cabin was clean, plenty of towels, utensils, cooking equipment, spices, etc. Overall we had a great time and thank you for letting us stay.

Thanks for letting us stay in this beautiful cabin. Love the accessibility. Everything we need is here. Cozy bedrooms, comfy furniture, also loved how the kitchen is equipped with all utensils and cookware. Only thing missing was TV in bedrooms, but I think without them made us have a more enjoyable sleep and enjoyed the views at night from the deck. The hot tub was enjoyed by all of us. The view of the river is great! We enjoyed walking in the River to fish and canoe. Thanks again and hope to stay again next season.

Thank you for letting us use this home. It is such a nice place for our vacation. This is the nicest place we have ever been. You have got everything covered for your guests. Thank you so much for letting us stay.

Thank you so much for opening your comfortable, well appointed home to us! This home has such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. We arrived to some August rain and settled in to cook dinner and start the village puzzle. Weather improved on subsequent days for hikes and sight seeing, but we always loved returning to soak in the hot tub and to listen to the river as it flowed by. Although we cooked in some days, we enjoyed meals at Foggy Rock, Coyote Kitchen, and Over Yonder in Valle Crucis. All recommended.
If you wish to add anything new consider a printed sheet to explain how to play backgammon! It had been too long since I last played, and refresher instructions/rules would have helped.
Thank you once more for your kind hospitality! Staying at your home made for a wonderful vacation!
