Reviews for this vacation townhouse rental in Bradenton, Florida
Woodhaven, MI USA
April 6, 2015
The Townhouse was completely updated in January. It's pretty nice inside, it was clean and is close to the beaches on Anna Maria. There's really no view to speak of, the pool was clean but strictly 'ok' as far that goes. I'd like to see a TV upgrade, 32" is a bit small for a flat screen these days and it was March (sweet 16 basketball !) There are a good set of docks and tie off posts out back that work out perfectly for anyone with a boat looking to enjoy the Intercoastal. I'd estimate 25 foot would be about tops on overall length. Have to watch the channel in and out of Palma Sola bay, but its deep enough to avoid any problems. The rental manager I worked with (Fred) was a great guy, absolutely no issues there. As I saw in previous posts there is a bit of traffic noise due to people running 64 from Town to Anna Maria. One benefit of the Townhouse location is you avoid a lot of waiting in traffic to & from town. Traffic lines up on 64 to & from the beach on the weekends. Residents / other renters were friendly enough without being intrusive. We did get 'vetted' once by a resident as to where we were staying, which might annoy some, but it's good to see someone looking out for the place. Overall for our purposes (a couple of guys boating / fishing) the place worked out great. As a frequent traveler I have to go with 3 stars, as I know what 5 star really means. It's not a beach resort, but it wasn't priced as a beach resort. For someone looking to have a clean rental unit with the ability to keep a boat in the water, it works fine.

Trying to be positive

This is an older TH that has been upgraded with a newer kitchen, bathrooms and was overall clean and acceptable. The few immediate issues were quickly resolved by the property manager. The location was great for access to Anna Maria Island and near by beaches. We did a kayak/paddleboarding trip through Robinson's Preserve which is just up the street. The neighbors that we saw were friendly and kept to themselves. The unit faces out to Manatee Ave which is the main road in and out of the Island. The traffic noise is constant which isn't a problem until bedtime. A few nights also had some party happy "yout's" having a good time outside the unit. Overall, more positives then negatives!!
