The quiet residential neighborhood is a four minute walk from the free shuttle, a five minute walk from the grocery, and a six minute walk from the center of downtown. CARTER PARK with a sledding hill and playground is one block away. Our stunning VIEW OF THE SLOPES allows you to watch the sun rise on the Ten Mile Range.

Very cute house. The owners provided everything to enhance our stay and were nothing but helpful through out the process. The home is in a great location with easy access to anything you could imagine. Highly recommend this property.

Another wonderful summer month. We have stayed several years for a month in the summer and it is great. Hiking, golf, biking or sitting in the hot tub after a long day. Location is perfect as we walked either way for hours of hiking or biking. Guided hikes by locals were very informational and we went to local plays and concerts. The house is less than 5 minutes away from morning coffee, grocery store or dinner sitting outside watching the sunset. Kitchen is stocked so meals are easy and fun to fix. The bedroom was nice and cool and it was perfect sleeping weather. We bought our fruit, vegetables and pastas at the local farmers markets. Each evening we would walk around town and look for the fox near the artists section and see what was going on in town. We can't wait to get back for our "relaxing" time.

I have to say that the Breckenridge home was truly as you described! You answered all my questions honestly. I have stayed at many rentals before I bought our cabin in 1997 and even after that time I have rented places at Whistler, Keystone, Park City, Sun Valley and Steamboat. Some places were admittedly nicer but the price was reflective of that. Your home is very comfortable and it appears that you have thought of everything when it comes to cooking, cleaning or even finding a screwdriver to tight the binding on my son's snowboard! Your place is thoughtfully decorated and we enjoyed looking at all the nuances you added to make it interesting. We especially loved the fact that, with the bedrooms on the bottom floor, we didn't have to fight carrying up a flight of stairs all our heavy luggage. The spa was a joy...and the fact that we could count on it being hot and clean was an added bonus. The heat worked and so did the fire place...when needed. The home was clean but you didn't feel like it was the run-of-the-mill type of rental. My boyfriend doesn't ski or board so he was home more than we were. He said he felt right at home and would rent your home again. The convenience of being close to Main Street was as described. Thanks for you and your sisters' hard work to make our vacation enjoyable. This was one of the best vacations we ever had! By the way, it feels much bigger than described.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How far are the slopes?
A: The shuttle stops about a block and a half away on French St. It comes every 20 minutes and can be taken either direction to Peak 9 and 10, or to the gondola which goes to peaks 7 and 8. It takes about 4 minutes to walk to the bus stop in ski boots.
Q: How far is downtown?
A: It is a 3 block walk to the center of downtown.
Q: Where should I ski?
A: We know this mountain like the back of our hand. Tell us what you are looking for and we can help you.
Q: Can I bike here?
A: Yes! We have bike storage in our shed. You can leave from our house and go any direction on your mountain or road bike. Dirt roads and single track abound. There is an easy paved path going to Frisco, Copper Mountain and on to Vail. Carter Park, the start and finish of many events is one block away.
