Ben met us there at the designated time and gave us a tour and told us where everything was that we would need. I was pleasantly surprised that the house was stocked with most everything we would need even better than a hotel room. The pictures were great online but the house was even nicer than what the pictures showed. Our #2 son was getting married on Friday night and so we stayed there with our oldest son and his family and which made it very convenient to get to the wedding. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of extra bedding if needed. Tastefully but simply decorated and with a modern and updated look. My daughter in law did the flowers and used the downstairs bar area and laundry room for putting everything together since there was south room to spread out. The few suggestions that I would make would be to have a broom to clean up the floors. I used the vacuum which only had a small attachment for the floor. I didn't feel comfortable leaving the extra mess for the cleaning person. The kitchen could have used a few more pans and mixing bowls. A few more drinking glasses would have been good too. Also I would label the drawers inside for utensils so that they would all be put back in the same place again to be found. And the last suggestion would be to have the grass cut shorter in the backyard and trim some of the growth along the stairs to the beach. Overall the house was great and we will definitely come back next year! Thank you Ben for a comfortable stay!

We spent Christmas most enjoyably in this house. We agree with the superlatives from other reviewers. The large house, with two living areas, is big enough to spread out in. The two fireplaces add a cheerful glow and warmth in wintertime. The house is right on the water with large floor-to-ceiling windows to take in the view of the water. Furnishings are first rate -- not the dowdy beat-up kind one sometimes get in a rental. The house is close to needed shopping (grocery, drug store, etc.) and is convenient to the charming Bristol downtown with quaint streets, restaurants and the pleasant Aidan's Irish pub (with its huge portions of cheap but decent food). Finally, the owner and his son were extremely helpful, cheerful and courteous. All in all, highly recommended.

This vacation house was even better than we expected! The house felt very spacious for our group of 7 (5 adults + 2 kids) with two family rooms, both with big screen TVs. It was fully equipped with everything you could possibly want and the owner was welcoming and very helpful. The location was great - 4 houses away from the association beach, down the street from downtown Bristol, and a 25 minute drive to Newport. We will definitely return again. Thank you Ben!

This house was an absolute treat. The inside was top of the line impressive with plenty of room, for anything that you can think of. I recently rented this house with a bunch of old college friends from a reunion down the street from RWU. There was 10 of us in total and the room in the house was more then enough. The yard itself was prefect to have a nice afternoon in, as well as being able to walk down to the water. The lay out of both floors of the house was prefect being very open, when the back deck also being right off the second floor. The views were just as gorgeous as the house on the inside. Well be trying to rent again and again in years to come, highly recommend this house and location for Bristol Vacationers!
