Description of the Brownfield vacation cabin rental
A new log cabin, decorated in an antique western motif, located on 50 acres in a quiet rural region of the White Mountains. Hiking , skiing and snowshoeing trails right on property. Trout stream; superb biking -- both road and mountain biking, no traffic! If you like outdoor activities in an unspoiled setting, this is the place for you!

The interior of the Brookside Cabin affords an open floor plan with plenty of light and space for everyone to move around in comfortable surroundings. Meals can be shared in a fully equipped kitchen and dinng area or, in good weather, on the picnic tale on the deck overlooking the surrounding forests. Moose and deer have been spotted from this vantage point. We have a large video library and lots of old Look and Life magazines to peruse through. The nearby (3 miles) Stone Mountain Arts Center offers top notch entertainment every week

Pet friendly; pooch will love the forests, fields and brooks to romp in. We also have a new barn and paddocks for equine lodging. Guest are welcome to help themselves to our organic gardens -- corn, tomatoes, beans, beets, herbs, etc - when in season.
Area Information
We are located 10 miles outside Conway -- close enough for the shops and restaurants the Mt.Washington Valley but far enough to enjoy the region without the traffic, congestion and noise. There are hikiing trails galore -- to Foss Mountain , renouned for the raptor migration that takes place there in the spring and fall. There is the Brownfield Bog Wildlife Sanctuary which offers excellent opportunities for kayaking and bird watching. There are also several smaller communities in the surrounding area that offer great antiquing without the high prices of the Mt. Washington Valley.

Nice Property

July 14, 2014

I stayed for two weeks at the Cabin while attending the Fox Maple Timber Framing classes. The cabin was clean, quiet and offered all the amenities of home while also offering the convenience of a kitchen so I could cook meals versus going into town every night. Kevin and Theresa were excellent hosts. Everything was handled in a quick and professional manner. I would recommend this property to any looking to stay in the area.
