Reviews for this vacation cabin rental in Bryson City, North Carolina
The description and pictures are deceptive!

Big disappointment! 2 queen size beds - need replacing; both sink into the middle when you lie down - most uncomfortable, unable to sleep - tried both beds, and both the same. The living room furniture is covered in throws. When I pulled them back, it revealed dirty furniture that looks as if it came from a thrift store; also, the seat springs are worn out, and sag down; difficult to get up from. The kitchen is sparsely stocked with pots/pans, and they are OLD as well. The location is terrible because across the creek from the cabin is a junk yard with two falling down, inhabited mobile homes with approx. 15 junk cars and other various junk thrown about the property, and not only barking dogs, but 4 free-range roosters (3 Road Island Reds, and 1 black one). These roosters crow incessantly from about 4 a.m. until about 9 p.m. They even come to the front door of the cabin, and got up on the picnic table in the back yard and sat there crowing at each other. You can't leave a window(s) open to enjoy the rushing sound of the creek and enjoy the peach and quiet for the roosters crowing and dogs barking. The view from the back porch/yard of the junk yard/trash is the most horrible, and I was afraid of being spurred by one of the roosters who are definitely not afraid of people. The pictures and description of this cabin are definitely deceptive. The furniture is dirty; the beds are uncomfortable; the view disgusting, and we definitely did not have the relaxing get-away we planned. If you want a backache, sleepless nights, and noisy roosters and dogs barking to wake you up - this is the place for you!

Worst rental & customer satisfaction ever.

I've stayed in a lot of places. Here my only pleasure was when I secured the rental& getting home. Was not worth the $ we shelled out for this cabin. We arrived to find it was not private, secluded or well kept. The grill was in-operational, water damage that ran down bedroom/bathroom wall & buckled the sheetrock(gross), no Internet when we were promised, furniture needed updates & floors needed to be thouroughly cleaned(yuk). All the manager offered was a $50 refund for 7 days a misery. Wish we could've secured another rental but it was during the holidays & everything was booked. I should've realized something was hiding behind the wall when boys started wheezing & needed breathing treatments while in cabin. Stay somewhere else.
