Spring Break

April 18, 2012

The cabin was cozy, clean, just the right size for two people. The river in front was great--you could hear the river flowing as you drifted off to sleep at night--very soothing. Just one item to note--beware of the dog that lives next door--he BITES!! We spent the evening of the very first night in the ER dealing with a potentially vacation-ending dog bite.

Owner's reply:

We're glad you enjoyed Smoky Riverfront Cabin and the atmosphere of the river. About the dog bite, we wish you would have called us about the problem, we are always available. Instead we only found out about it from your posted review. (:
In talking to the neighbor (who took you to the ER), I understand that you stuck your hand into the dog's fenced off area. I'm guessing that the odds of getting bit are quite high when one encroaches on an unknown dog's private fenced off area with your body. Come back and visit us but please refrain from petting the animals, wild or domestic!

Wonderful place!!

July 10, 2011

The cabin, NICE, the river in front, PRICELESS! It was great to get up, go sit on the front porch and see God's awsome creation. The cabin probally needs a few upgrades but was still a very nice place to stay. The location of property was nice. Just a few minutes drive from Cherokee or Bryson City. Would definitly stay again with out a doubt. We had five in our family and the cabin was big enough to handle us.
