Beautiful 4 bedroom penthouse with sea views
Description of the Calella de palafrugell vacation apartment rental
Penthouse located within 10 minutes walking of the center of town and the main beach of Calella de Palafrugell. Located within a large luxury apartment complex, we look out onto the common garden, with tennis courts, a large pool and a children's play area. The penthouse has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, with a large modern kitchen, top of the line appliances (washer, dryer, two refrigerators, dishwasher and microwave). There are two large flat-screen TV's, with satellite and internet connection. There is a good-sized terrace off the living-room and a larger one upstairs. Not appropriate for people with mobility challenges, as there is no elevator (most properties in Calella do not have one) and it is on the 3rd floor.
Calella de Palafrugell is considered to be one of the most beautiful beach towns in the Costa Brava, forming part of the "Golden Triangle" with Llafranc and Tamariu. Other beautiful beaches close by are La Fosca, Palamos, Sa Tuna and many more. The area also has many medieval towns to visit, such as Girona, Pals and Peratallada. Calella is served by the Girona and Barcelona airports, and Palafrugell is reachable by bus and train from Barcelona. It is about a one hour drive from Barcelona. There are many activities available, from golf and water sports, to mountain biking and other adventure sports. The French border is 30 minutes away, and there is easy access to all of the beaches on the Costa Brava, as well as Figueres (Salvador Dali museum) and Cadaques. There are many very good restaurants in the area.
