3 Willow Cottage

August 24, 2013

The cottage had everything we needed. It was immaculate both inside (everything from the frige to the floors were sparklinv clean)and out ( lawn cut, flower beds weeded etc). The walk to town was 5 minutes and even the neighbors were friendly. There were plenty of linens and household supplies including spices that others left behind. Air conditioning in the bedrooms and extra fans in the storage closet but our weather was perfect and we did not use them. There is lots to do in the area from water activities (harbor tours to lake kayaking), hiking on Camden Hills SP or island hopping. Oh and for those who like shopping lots of that too. We will definitely be back here and will definitely book the : Willow Cottage again.

bathing with a midget

August 8, 2013

Bathroom way too small...toilet only flushed part of the time. Junction box in cellar was burned up and had to be replaced...3 people came out to repair it and only one guy could figure out what was wrong. And that's because he really was an electrician...the first fix-it guy was the yardman. We were supplied with soap...1950's tiny-weeny motel-type shards of soap...we ran out!

Couldn't ask for more!

July 15, 2013

This rental cottage was extremely well equipped and spotless. The owners were very hospitable and were available for all our needs including questions concerning the Camden area. The lawn and gardens were well maintained. We spent many evenings sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the front lawn and many mornings enjoying our coffee on the back deck. The location was ideal as we could walk into town to shop, sight see and sit by the harbor and watch the boats while enjoying an ice cream from a nearby ice cream shop. We were four senior citizens looking for a quiet, comfortable and friendly locale and we found it here. We all said we would definitely return to Camden and stay at this home-away-from-home again.

Perfection in Every Way!

July 19, 2012

We've rented many cottages over the years and this one was THE best. It is clean and well maintained. Everything one could possibly want or need is there...right down to the chocolates on the bureau when you arrive! Many brochures to provide information about the multitude of area attractions available are there. The location is ideal...within walking distance of town. The neighborhood is a delight to walk around....wonderful old New England homes all beautifully restored. Camden has many fine restaurants and a sail on a schooner is a must. We will surely rent to this ideal cottage when we return to Maine next summer.

Charming Pied-a-Terre

August 17, 2011

This comfortable, cozy cottage provides a lovely center for one's vacation adventures. Our family greatly enjoyed experiencing Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, antiquing along the coastal highway, visiting Owl's Head Transportation Museum, eating lots of home-made ice cream in RockPort, sunning on the beaches, and watching the sunset at Camden harbor. After a long day's adventure, the cottage was a welcoming venue that was a second home away from home. We would be glad to return.

Home Away From Home

August 16, 2010

The cottage is located in the perfect area. It is a couple blocks from downtown Camden, a 20 minute drive from Belfast, and about one hour and thirty minutes from Bar Harbor. A casino is close to an hours drive. The cottage has two bedroom, one bath, living room, a kitchen and a deck in the back. It has free Wi-Fi connection for a computer. Another nice feature is free long distance phone service. The cottage was very clean and neat. We really hit the jackpot when we rented this cottage.

Great Getaway

July 2, 2010

My husband and I chose this cottage as our mini-honeymoon. We were so happy with our choice. It was clean and well kept and had everything we needed to relax and unwind after the work of planning our wedding. It was close to tons of great shops & restaurants and also had a grill on the back deck for an evening of grilling & wine. We were 100% happy with our first decision :)

Best equipped rental

September 3, 2009

We spend August 2009 in this rental. We are two retired Federal employees that have rented apartmenst over most of the world. This lovely house is in a wonderful location within walking distance of everything in Camden. We really loved the farmers market three block away on Wednesday and Saturdays. The kitchen was more that fully furnished with everything one needs. The owner was very accomadating and extremely helpful. We hope to stay here again in the future. Larry-Jim
