Reviews for this vacation home rental in Camelback, Pennsylvania
God Bless This Home

This home has been a saving grace for our family. We were having marital issues and after a very sweet reservation agent helped us chose this home we came here. We found it so peaceful that ideas just came flowing out of my husband and me on how to work things out. We really appreciate this home and we will come bak here every chance we get. Thank You Sarah - you've (indirectly ofcourse) saved our marriage! God Bless You and Your Home.

This is probably the first place we ever stayed in that was worth reviewing. The place is a 2 acre private area. No one really around. The creek that's on their website is HUGE in the back, we had some great lawn games there. It's all nicely manicured and really tidy (for something that's in the woods). It looks like they take care of the place. The rooms are more oriented for love and girls, we really didn't care for it, but they are tastefully designed. Some cool features are the pool table downstairs, poker table is there too and for some strange reason a tape cassette player. I'm not a retro fan, but it was a nice touch. Wifi was a nice touch. The last place we stayed in the Poconos was in a dead zone so it's nice to have Pandora and other things while here. We wanted to know if we can do Paintball here. Definitely a good place for it... still waiting on that. Guess that's not a question they get asked often. Anyway. Great place we had fun.

Generally, I dont rent from companies. I like staying in other peoples houses, but a friend of mine stayed with Luxury Stay and really loved it - besides, the house we wanted wasnt available. So we decided to give our family trip a go. Instead of camping, ugh, we hate camping! This must have been the best thing we've ever done. The house was pleasant and maybe can use some more paintings When we arrived, we started grilling, the deck was clean and recently painted. The home had everything advertised and I believe the cleaners really did a nice job. I am somewhat of a fantaic when it comes to cleaning so I immediately checked the beds and whole house. We didnt feel anything was necessarily missing, but I think the pictures could have been better. We did go outside and stayed there all day while the guys bbq'd the girls tanned. It was a very pleasant family trip. We called the company just over the weekend to tell them how much we liked this place, but reservations was closed on sunday. Although a nice guy named Lou did call us back and said that if we needed anything he could help out. All in all we really enjoyed this place. It had everything we needed and somethings we didnt, like the PS3. The boys couldnt get away from it. It was a place to reconnect and recharge and from the first phone call we had a successful family event. Many times this doesnt happen and I did read the old reviews on this place. The manager at the company claimed that it was when the house was first started and we had some hiccups. But ever since then, they really perfected it. Great job guys. We will return.. P.S. - This is a real review and I would have been more critical, but it was just too nice of a getaway.
Someone else's cabin became our home for a weekend

Exciting to be in someone's cabin for a weekend and just be able to explore. We loved the privacy. All the kids enjoyed running around the 3 acres of land we got with the property and exploring all sorts of stuff. One of them almost fell running in the creek (we all tried not to laugh) but it was hilarious. We spent both nights by the firepit, by the way, you guys need more wood there. I think you might be running low. We really appreciate the chance to stay here and will definately love to come back. Not sure why someone told me to but I am writting that this is a real review. Many other homes, have theses fakes up but not here. Not us. We're real and we loved this place.
