Great Service, Great Place, Great Location

August 21, 2014

Renting the place was extremely easy. No hidden costs or unreasonable requests like others who gave us one hour window to arrive (between only 4:00 and 5:00pm), and departure at 10:00 promptly or a $200 fee. We arrived before time, John was accommodating and allowed us to go in and get comfortable. The house was clean and inviting. Nice plan, nice pool size, nice linen and nicely decorated. Nice pool with nice sunset. John came and explain to me how to use the electric stove. I've a gas one, I didn't know that you cannot put foil on top of an electric stove. He made sure to make it easy to contact him if we have any questions. Yes, during the stay we did call him and he was very helpful. The location of the house is great. Close to the marina, and to the grocery. In addition, it is only 15min from Costco (favorite place for a family). The house is only 20 minutes to Captiva. Thanks to the cooking tools and pots, we mostly cooked at home. I always thought that renting a house will be more trouble than just going to hotel, but dealing with John's company and John in particular proved me wrong. I will most likely rent a house again.

Villa Delight was a fantastic place to stay. We had stayed in Cape Harbor the previous year but were at least a 30 min walk to the Restaurants and Shops. From this address we were only 10 minutes which was great for us wanting to catch a happy hour or live entertainment in the evening. The house was extremely clean and perfectly set up for the two of us. All of the appliances worked fine, the TV was great with lots of channels and the pool heater worked fine. The only issue we had, and we new it going in, was that the pool area faced North. As such, there was sun in the afternoon but only in the back area of the pool area. Aside from that we would return here again.

Although it was extremely hot in August, this wonderful villa made our stay unreal. Everything in the villa was completely brand new and the water view added a rrally nice ambiance.

Christmas and New Year's Eve 2012 at Cape Coral

January 19, 2013

We had wonderful Christmas holidays at Villa Delight at Cape Coral. The first evening when we arrived we already felt at home because of the warm design in the house. Then the next morning when we woke up, we were impressed by the amazing water view that we enjoyed everytime when we relaxed at the pool or were sitting at the breakfast table. We often opened the massive glass doors to let the fresh air into the house. The house has a pretty furniture and decoration. Also it was no problem with the heated pool to go swimming even if it was a bit colder outside sometimes. Cape Coral is a great place to stay because from there you can visit a lot of the sights and cities of Florida. We were at Bradenton, Anna Maria Island, Sanibel Island, even Miami and Orlando and of course Fort Myers. We celebrated New Year's Eve at Fort Myers Beach where we were watching the impressive firework. It was unbelievable beautiful, definitely the most beautiful one we ever saw. It was the best way to start 2013. Also it is always a pleasure to see John again who is always there if you need help. We will never forget our amazing holiday and we are looking forward to our next visit at Cape Coral Florida. Family Lutz

Family Vacation at Villa Delight - 2012

August 6, 2012

Upon arrival we were impressed with the well appointed Villa Delight. The home has been fully remodeled with high end materials. All linens and furniture are top of the line which lends to the rich feel of the home. The pool deck too was furnished with high end comfortable furniture. The views from inside the home and from the deck of the canal were amazing. I often peered out the massive glass doors, taking in the marvelous view, while preparing meals in the kitchen. We rented a boat for the week and secured at the homes dock. We took it out almost daily to Picnic Island. It is about a 40 minute ride to the lock from the house. Seeing the million dollar homes along the spreader canal is worth the time. I highly recommend leasing a boat during your stay for fishing or for leisure island touring. The Villa Delight is perfectly located to enjoy such an experience. Our boys caught a 3' bonnethead shark while fishing at Picnic Island. They also caught many sea catfish from the Villa Delight dock. The pool was also enjoyed by our four teenage boys. It was large and refreshing. John B., the property manager was very professional and helpful. We have vacationed in Orlando and Miami for the past 15 years, but John was the first property manager that ever met us at the home we rented. It was nice having the personal touch and knowing we could call John if anything went wrong. My family and I had the best vacation ever. We spent one day in Miami (2.5 hour drive) and one day at Fort Myers Beach. My family and I highly recommend Villa Delight in Cape Coral. It is perfect for those that have outgrown the parks in Orlando.
