Quaint historic cottage

May 31, 2010

This vintage kitchen cottage is quaintly decorated in a Victorian charm. Adequate amenities. Large bedrooms giving you plenty of room. Mattress comfort fair for the decerning sleeper. Bathrrom small but serves all your needs. Loaction is close to sites and yet very quiet. The best part for me was the comfort of two couples being able to relax in the living room and share conversations or catch a cable tv show. You cannot do that at hotels. Would definitely recommend and stay there again

Great deal -- spacious, cute

June 1, 2009

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights during a vacation to charming Charleston (our first time there). We were definitely pleased with our choice. We got a good deal for the 5 nights-- $140 per night, which was better than any bed and breakfast we had found (it was Memorial Day weekend, and Spoleto Festival). The house has a kitchen, living room, two bedrooms (three beds total) and a bathroom. We had more space than we needed with just the 2 of us. We really enjoyed the convenience of the kitchen, though we used it only to cook breakfast on some mornings. The location is good, though not perfect. It is about a 20 minute walk to the places you'll want to go in the historic district. This was definitely doable, and let us come back before dinner when we wanted. All in all, a good choice and a cute place to stay. Plus it was fun to have a "home" in Charleston :)

Best Deal in Town!

October 23, 2008

This was a wonderful trip... the location of the cottage was great (I was only .7 of a mile from Meeting Street and had no problem walking there on the sidewalk! The cottage was comfortable and had exactly what I needed (the small kitchen was a plus). I would definitely stay here again versus a hotel... nothing like the feeling of being part of the town you are visiting.

Owner Supplied Testimonials

It was lovely, and Charleston is a wonderful city. Thanks much.

We had a very good time and enjoyed the house very much. This is something we'll definately be recommending to our friends.

Everything was fine except for the torrential rains the night before we left. We may be back next spring. thanks.
