Description of the Chicago vacation home rental
Enjoy Chicago as kings and queens in the famous Florsheim Mansion for the Arts in Chicago's Gold Coast at 1328 N. State Parkway. One of the most architecturally significant homes in Chicago, the Florsheim Mansion for the Arts is a perfect destination for families or groups.

The Florsheim Mansion for the Arts has long been an important art destination in Chicago. The home is named after Lillian Florsheim, the shoe empire heiress who was one of the finest sculptors and gala host's of her day. The home was previously owned by the Director of Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art. In recent years the home has been used as an Artist in Residency destination for some of the world's most prestigious artists.

The Main House entrance features a small guest bedroom with 2 full beds and full bath/shower, as well as a large den/office with fireplace and a pull-out queen size couch for 2. Upstairs on the 2nd floor is a very large entertaining Living Room with a 7' Steinway Grand Piano and a formal Dining Room. On the third floor is the Master Bedroom with king size bed (can be converted to two full beds) and full bath as well as another guest room with two full size beds (can be combined together) and full bath.

The Guest House features a small bedroom/bath on the 1st floor with 1 or 2 single beds. The 2nd floor includes a massive Great Room/Art Studio with 20' soaring ceilings, large hearth, and a Media Room with flatscreen TV. On the third floor is the Master Bedroom with queen size bed and full bath.

Combined, the Main House and Guest House can comfortably sleep 6-11 people.
