A Girls Weekend

October 16, 2014

It was a girls weekend for myself, 13 year old daughter and her friend, we had a good time, the cabin was nice and cozy. Everyone should know that you have to drive through a creek to get to the cabin, it is very remote and no cell service, I was not aware of these aware of these things before booking my trip. I did take advantage of the quiet relaxing time that we had, everyone did quite a bit of sleeping... We enjoyed the hot tub, grilled out each day, and the girls had a wonderful time making smores at the fire-pit.. We had the time to actually talk and enjoy each other without all the distractions of everyday life.

Owner's reply:

Thanks for your feedback Cynthia - I now see the need to tell people all this before they book. As for cell phone usage, it is possible now since we have satellite WiFi . . . All you need is a phone with some kind of internet calling service. You can also use our land line for emergency and local calls, and a calling card for long distance.

Fun weekend away

September 16, 2009

My wife and I had an enjoyable time getting away to the Cherokee National Forest and staying in the woods in this cabin. The cabin had all the amentities we needed. The management staff was awsome in helping out with my last minute loss of directions. Looking forward to returning.

A weekend away from it all

March 26, 2009

We stayed at Cupids Cove in March. It is a quaint, cozy little hide away far from the hustle and bustle of the city life. We enjoyed our stay. It is so peaceful and quite. The mountains of East Tennessee or breath taking.

Owner Supplied Testimonials
Guestbook

We had a wonderful time staying here. We got to relax and sleep in! It's so peaceful and quiet here. We did get to do a couple of fun things. The Lost Sea was really interesting and amazing. Went to the Skyway and saw all the beautiful scenery and the falls, and people say all this just happened by chance? Only God can create such beautiful and intricate things. - Lititz Family, Pennsylvania

This was such a treat! What a charming place! Everyone here was so friendly and helpful. I can't wait until we can come here again. - Tom & Shekila, Panama City, FL.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where can I get up-to-date information on rates, pets, availability and more?
A: Visit our main site (mountain-rental) to get complete details, and to book your stay online. Since we're not allowed to list our site address here, however, send us an inquiry to get an auto-response with the direct link.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Yes - up to 2 small pets (35 pounds or less) with payment of the $75 pet fee.
Q: Do you have heat and air?
A: Yes, the cabin is both heated and cooled by gas and electricity. There is also a wood-burning open-faced stove that heats the cabin well in cooler weather.
Q: Do you have WiFi and Cell coverage?
A: We just got WiFi installed via satellite. Cell coverage, however, is non-existent for most providers unless you want to make the trip 10-mile trip to Tellico Plains. You can also install an Internet Calling App on your phone and use it within the range of the WiFi. .
Q: I don't have an off-road vehicle. Can I get there in my Chevy?
A: Although the last mile to the cabin is dirt and gravel, most cars have no trouble getting there. There is, however, a small creek to cross that will get your tires wet, so make sure you have at least 8 inches of clearance under your car to make it comfortably. During times in Winter or Spring when there is extreme weather like snow or heavy rain, however, you are encouraged to come in a 4 wheel drive or off-road vehicle. Bring chains for your ties in the winter months, just in case.
