Falmouth Cape Cod Vacation Homes and Rentals with Pools

A wonderful Falmouth Cape Cod vacation home with a pool! An in-town location. A/C (window units) in all 4 of the bedrooms. Walk to Falmouth Cape Cod Village, if you can get away from the pool, WiFi, and ping pong (in garage). This place has it all. Steps to the Shining Sea Bike Path, only 6/10 mile to Main Street, and just over a mile to Surf Drive Beach!

Please note we rent this home Friday to Friday. If that doesn't work for you, know that we have about 300 other homes in the Falmouth area as well, so please get in touch!

You will love the private landscaped back yard. It is fully fenced in. The large patio overlooks the kidney shaped pool. We have several table and chair sets on that patio, as well as a gas grill (new for 2015) and a spare propane tank in the garage in case the one attached to the grill goes empty in the middle of cooking!

All four bedrooms have hardwood floors and window AC units. The living room and kitchen do NOT have A/C, but our screen doors are new in 2015 and can create a nice cross breeze. The living room also has hardwood floors, a couch and loveseat, and a flat screen TV. The kitchen has a tile floor, new for 2015. The kitchen also has a skylight, and is pretty large. The counters are 1970's blue, but they are in good shape! And there are plenty of counters, cabinets for storage etc. We also provide plates, silverware, glasses, pots and pans etc! If you have a specialty pot that you need, please do NOT assume we have it... we have basic pots and pans.

We do have a coffee pot, toaster, microwave, stove/oven combo, dishwasher, nice fridge and freezer.

Every spring we get new cable/internet equipment, so we have the best internet connection, it is password protected, we will give you the password when you arrive. All TVs have cable and quite a few channels to choose from.

The unfinished basement has a couch & loveseat, as well as cable TV, so kids (or adults) can go downstairs to watch a show or movie, while others enjoy themselves upstairs. Please note, it is an unfinished basement, and is not meant to be everyday living space, but overflow if someone wants to hang down there... the basement is nothing special at all, but it is extra space for if and when you need it. We also have a 3rd TV in the bedroom with the queen bed and new for 2015 we now a 4th TV, a flat screen TV in the bedroom with the King Bed.

The location is perfect. You can walk to Falmouth Village, where you can enjoy the shops, restaurants and bars that make our Main Street one of the best in all of New England. We LOVE our Main Street and think you will too! On the walk to Main Street you will also go by the Mullen Hall Playground, the best playground (great for 1-10 year olds) in Falmouth!

For your entertainment, we also have a Ping Pong table in the garage. Note that because we have this ping pong table set up in the garage, there is no room to park a car in the garage! Not a problem, because the driveway can easily handle 4 cars.

And don't forget just how close it is to the Shining Sea Bike Path, take your bikes down to Woods Hole to explore or grab the ferry to Martha's Vineyard!

Bathrooms: There is ONE full bathroom, off the hallway. It has a tub/shower, and was updated in 2015 (new tub insert, finally took down the wallpaper and painted, net lights etc).

There is one half bathroom off of the bedroom with the full bed. This small bathroom has a toilet and a sink only, no tub or shower. There is a 2nd half bath (again just a toilet and sink) off the back of the garage, this bathroom is ideal for people to use when swimming in the pool. Note that this half bathroom gets shut down in late September, and is opened up again mid June.

We do have a very nice, enclosed, outdoor shower! This was new in 2014. It is oversized, so quite comfortable.

The location is perfect, the house is extremely comfortable and larger than it looks... and the pool is awesome! Plus, the beach is just over 1 mile away
Area Information
Falmouth is so convenient to everything on Cape Cod! We have 3 ferries to Martha's Vineyard, making that a must day trip. World Famous Woods Hole is just a quick bike ride away. Hyannis, Provincetown, whale watching, the ferry to Nantucket, are all short drives away.

Q: What are the most fun things to do at your vacation rental?
A: Swim in the Pool! Also, a quick stroll down to Main St is great, lots of shops, restaurants, bars, a wonderful playground, more. And, we have the ping pong table in the garage.
Q: What makes your vacation rental special?
A: Well, start with the POOL! It is fantastic!
Q: What's the coolest nearby activity?
A: The Shining Sea Bike Path is just around the corner - literally 200 yards away, it does down to Woods Hole, or up to North Falmouth and is excellent.
Q: Is it easy to get to Martha's Vineyard from this home?
A: YES! Falmouth is the closest mainland to Martha's Vineyard, so we have multiple ferries that run all day, every day. My favorite is the Island Queen, it is a perfect size boat, very close (under 2 miles) from the house, and goes to Oak Bluffs, which is a very fun town on MV. Call me to discuss the other ferries if you want.
Q: What if we have an issue or problem during our stay?
A: I am the owner of the house, I live right in town and can come by anytime you need me to. I own Weichert, Realtors-Donahue Partners, and my office is almost always open and they can help there too!
Q: Who maintains the pool?
A: We have the pool professionally maintained. They usually come by on Thursdays to clean it. You as the tenant are asked to call us if you notice anything wrong with the water clarity, color, depth, etc, preferably BEFORE it becomes a big issue. You are responsible for daily skimming of the pool - leaves etc. You don't HAVE to skim, but it makes for a much more pleasant swimming experience.
