Beautiful beach view
September 3, 2015
Excellent location building at the very north end of St.Petes beach. Literally walk right onto the beach from the building. Awesome views from windows and deck. Condo is an excellent size for two couples or a family of four. The condo itself is not luxurious, with a closet door in the bedroom that fell on me (someone else wrote about it, but I figured it had been fixed) and a dishwasher that did not work. Decor was nice but the bathrooms and kitchen look like they need a redo. But we were comfortable and slept well. Kitchen is well equipped, with other appliances working well. There were not enough linens for the pillows provided. And the twin bed sheets were not properly fitted. This condo is on the side of the building nearest the public entrance to the beach, and our teens found it loud day and night in the guest bedroom, so sleepers there need to be sound sleepers. There were only two small beach chairs and a broken beach umbrella provided, so for travellers flying in, tough luck. Although we had teens, some sand toys would be nice for travellers with small children. (We left a cooler for the next people). The pool and grounds were immaculate and the pool is shady mid-afternoon. You are within walking distance of cheap to 5 star restaurants. All amenities are close to this location. A 10 minute walk down the beach takes you to the Trade Winds resort which has a ton of fun paid activities like excursions, jet skiing, parasailing and bouncy castles for the kids. We walked the whole beach down to Don Cesar's, and the beach is stunning. Lots of fish, aqua blue warm water, and we even saw Dolphins! Covered parking which is awesome, so you are not getting in a super hot car every time. The resort management company were pleasant to deal with, and the key drop off and pick up is very close by. Easy travelling to Tampa and Orlando from this location. St. Peters is a mixed neighbourhood town with very high end mansions, to very lower end apartments. Quick drive to box stores for shoppers. Spectacular spot for a vacation, and would stay at the Caprice again.
