Reviews for this vacation guesthouse rental in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
April 18, 2015
my husband and I had a wonderful two weeks at the guest house. Glenis and Ralph are the nicest people and they can't do enough for you. The place is at a great location. It is on the bus line and within walking distance to the beach and all the restaurants and stores. I would recommend this to one or two people as it is small, but very comfortable and clean. Thank you Glenis and Ralph.
Nice Compact Studio

My wife and I stayed in the studio one night after our cruise. The studio is adjacent to the homeowners house. It was extremely convenient because the homeowners picked us up at the cruise terminal. Home & studio is quiet and in a great location. Highly recommend.
Exceeded All of my Expectations

This quaint studio is a treasure! It is the perfect getaway for an individual or a couple. This beautiful maintained guest house is tiny but had everything I needed including the most comfortable bed/refrigerator/microwave a table for two/ small plasm t.v., burner and all glassware/dishes were provided. The landlords were not only hospitable but went out of their way for me a number of times for me including a last minute ride to the airport. I hope they enjoyed my company as I did theirs. They embraced my guests and had parking available one street across from (A1A)- on a private beach with access to numerous resorts and affordable recommended restaurants. I have stayed at resorts in this area directly on the beach but besides a view I was given 1-2 star treatment. I've rated this 5 stars all the way around. I did not rent a vehicle which worked out perfectly for me. I was in walking distance to Ft. lauderdale's strip. Concierges were happy to get me to any destination including to Beach Place -a small local shopping area. When I arrived I was greeted with a bottle of wine for two. This couple gave me access to a private pool with multiple seating. I was surprised by being offered beach umbrellas/ a cooler/ beach towels/ access to a BBQ grill and was even supplied with soaps and conditioner in their shower. I have already recommended this gem to some of my FAU friends and did not want to leave. It was exactly what the doctor ordered. My own little piece of paradise. I almost forgot to mention that I stayed here over the Fourth of July and had the best view of the fireworks directly in front of this home. I would return tomorrow if I could! And I love my new friends Glenis and Ralph. Nothing but love from me.

First and foremost you could not ask for better hosts. From start to finish they were great. Nice studio apartment just perfect for two people looking to be convenient to everything. Whether the beach, markets, malls or restaurants, everything is right there. Thank you for everything!!!
Nice location next to the beach - perfect for 2!

We stayed for 10 days at this cute and cozy place, it felt more like visiting friends than renting an apartment! The hosts are very nice, helpful, and give you assistance whenever you need it. If you have any problems, feel free to contact the owners, they are so cooperative to assist you with any concerns you may have. They prepared everything in the studio for us; beach towels, beach chairs and an umbrella were there. Private parking is free, and the beach is so near! Do not expect a big room; it is nice, clean and cozy. Outdoor area is also clean; the pool is gorgeous, bigger than in small hotels. You will really feel welcome! We enjoyed every minute there, and we can recommend also the area, beach promenade is in walking distance, Harbordale shoppes are 2 miles away, with Publix, restaurants and so on. We can really recommend the studio, so go on to book it!

Our Stay at this guest house was wonderful! Even though it is small it had everything we needed for our stay. The location was brilliant, just across the street from the beach and 15 minutes from the airport. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating. The property is beautiful. If I was selfish I wouldn't write this review, I hate for the word to get out :)
Perfect for Two

A cozy little tropical oasis in the middle of much offered up by real nice people. The private, full size swimming pool outside your door made for enjoyment and relaxation any time of day. A large tiled carport and walkway made for easy access. We'll be back We'll be back
A little piece of heaven

My wife and I loved our stay with Ralph and Glenis. They gave us their sunglasses when we forgot ours. It's all about location and they have it so close to the beach.Everything was real clean and their pool was also nice to hang out at. This was a great deal and we can't wait to go back. Not just for the beach but to see Ralph and Glenis again. We feel blessed to have met such a wonderful couple.

Great Vacation Spot

First of all, Glenis and Ralph are great people! They give you your privacy, but were also receptive to socialize with you if you wish. The accomodations were clean and quaint... which is what we were looking for! Approximately block and a half from eveything. Beach chairs and cooler were made available, and a nice bottle of wine started our vacation( nice touch Glenis)! We would definitely return. Not only did we have a great vacation, we made two great friends! Thanks Glenis and Ralph, hope to hear from you soon! J& J
We would recomend this place to any couple looking to get away. It is within walking distance to everything. The owners could not have been any nicer and they were very accomodating. We will definitly stay here again.
