My experience was amazing. I must mention I am 19, and a college student. I went on this trip with my small dog and it was great. Pay close attention when arriving though, people have trouble finding the drive. Hot tub was to die for

Thanks Jenny!

This cabin has great potential but needs some work. We arrived to find a bottle of cleaner and a cloth on the tub by the windows but the tub was dirty. The stools at the breakfast bar are both broken. The table and two chairs by the windows are unstable and one chair is broke. The sofa and chair are both broken down and need to be replaced. The futon is worn out and also needs replaced. The bed was very comfortable but the extra pillows were musty and stained. The bath towels and wash cloths also need to be replaced. The dishes are also in bad shape. Out of three bowels only one would hold water. Coffee mugs were the same. Coffee maker takes a special filter and none there. There are a couple of places in the living room right in front of the bathroom that will make you think your going to fall through and another beside the bed at the window. The hot tub is in very bad shape. The sides are almost completely off, the thing is on blocks which is causing the tub to fail, there is one block in the center which has pushed up the floor of the tub in the center. The tub is turned the wrong direction and the inside steps face the fence. The tub was also nasty. No place to put the cover but on the ground and only a small deck to get in and out of the tub. The tub needs to be chemically treated to protect the tub and the people. A 12 X 16 covered deck would take care of the sitting and hot tub area. The deck should be built level to the outside door to eliminate the trip hazards. Add some fence between the house and embankment w/gate and you have a more secure and private while hot tub experience. The windows are in need of window treatments, what was there was mismatched and in poor condition. A trip to Walmart to pick up some Faux wood blinds will set the interior off. Some yard work and tree trimming will help too, as would removing the vines and tree branches that are holding moisture on the house causing damage. On the upside the cabin is in a good place and was very quiet/peaceful after the wedding party above us left. This was a block stucco house that has been converted to look like a cabin. It does look nice but also incomplete. That being said I would stay again. If you just need a place to sleep while your in town this will work for you. Pet friendly and if your like us "if your dogs not welcome then you aren't welcome". Again we would stay again and the price is reasonable. All these issues are easily repairable with some TLC.
