Description of the Gouldsboro vacation guesthouse rental
Welcome the Lesko's Down East Studio! This private setting is located on a nicely wooded lane off Route 1 in Gouldsboro which is between Ellsworth and Milbridge and is close to the Schoodic section of Acadia National Park. The studio is a second floor cottage with views of a semi private cove on Frenchman's Bay looking east for beautiful morning sunrises to enjoy your coffee on the deck before you head out exploring all our area has to offer. If you feel like staying in for the day, the property's many acres offer walking trails along the shore to an expansive beach for cold water ocean swimming and enjoying the views of Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island. The studio itself is a newly built open concept space with fully stocked kitchen with a cook top stove, dining area, full bathroom with stand up shower, and living area with double bed and even a day bed nook. If you have a vehicle that needs to be parked under cover, arrangements can be made with your hosts the Lesko's to use the garage below. Thank you for taking the time to read about the Lesko's Down East Studio. The Lesko's look forward to making this an enjoyable stay for you! PLEASE TAKE NOTE, THIS IS NOT OUR PROPERTY. WE MANAGE THE RENTAL OF IT FOR MR. AND MRS. LEONARD LESKO WHO ARE THE OWNERS OF THIS DELIGHTFUL OASIS.

Area Info
The Gouldsboro area is located about twenty minutes east of Ellsworth and 45 minutes northeast of Bar Harbor and the Mount Desert Island section of Acadia National Park. The Gouldsboro area is itself home to the less known Schoodic Section of Acadia National Park, and the quaint villages of Winter Harbor, Birch Harbor, and Prospect Harbor which is about a 15 minute drive from the property. These villages offer restaurants, shops, and galleries. The area also offers the Sunrise Recreational Trail for bikers, ATVers, and hikers. There are many public reserve areas in the Blackswoods area off RT182 between Franklin and Cherryfield for day hikes that include Tunk Mountain. There is even a convenience store/gas station located less than 1/4 mile from the property.
