Epic Location

August 24, 2015

My wife and I have never been much for the waterfront, but this property changed our minds. The location of this cabin, directly on Moosehead lake in Beaver Cove Maine, is incredible. The view of the lake is truly amazing; especially the sunsets. With all the amenities of home, our stay very worthwhile. The hot tub and laundry is definitely a bonus; especially if you like to play hard. Access to the waterfront is easy and there is a small dock and a small pebble beach that makes is very easy to launch kayaks off of. The driveway is long enough to accommodate a large truck and trailer. Greenville, where all the Restaurants and stores are located, is just a short 10 minute drive. We fell in love with Maine and will definitely be back to this cabin in the future.

Very low stress, no fuss owner. No long list of rules and regulations, allowed our two border collies. Nice location on the lake, there's a ton of outdoor activities right in Beaver Cove, with a most amazing sunset. Pretty private spot, though certainly not secluded. It was just our bad luck that the neighbors on either side were doing loud work on their homes while we were there. Overall: a nice, relaxing experience.

Nice place to stay

Would have given 5 stars if the weather cooperated. A very nice we'll-situated cabin. Lots of property to roam.

Moosehead vacation

August 2, 2013

The camp was clean and comfortable. Beautiful sunsets on a private, secluded cove. Would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet (except for the loons!) getaway.

Clawson Camp Review

August 29, 2009

We really enjoyed the cabin, and the wonderful view of Beaver Cove and Moosehead Lake, especially at sunset. The dock was close to the cabin, and easy for the kids to traverse. Even our dog Cleo got in the water and slept on the dock. The 6 person hot tub was great. We were close to everything we needed-and the whole family voted we would definitely like to return to Camp Clawson in 2010!
