Owner not pleasant, only worried about his income.

We had several issues and when I approached Andy and asked to talk to him about our stay he became very offensive. He raised his voice and began using profanity. He refused discussing any discount, slammed the door while I stood there talking and yelled that he did not have time for me. 2 1/2 days out of our 5 days their we had to listen to him run a gas powered generator at the cabin across from us so he could get it ready for a group coming up on Friday afternoon. So much for the beautiful sounds of nature as he advertises. We had no internet for the first 2 1/2 days so we could not check out business/work/personal emails. We had to evacuate the cabin due to a gas leak at 10 pm at night with nothing but what we had on, 4 adults and 3 children 1/2 mile down the road in the mosquito infested woods. Not pleasant. Andy knew of the potential danger and said we were fine. The utility crew ran over and said leave now. Andy left the area several hours prior. We had no lake access due to downed trees and a power line, nothing was done about the power line until another group came to stay and Andy finally cut the line so we could crawl over trees and past the power line. Andy yelled at me that he already has given me free advice about a nice place to swim and agate hunt along the north shore and did not want to listen to me complain about our woes and did not have time for me. I will never recommend this place, although the scenery is nice, Andy was rude and did nothing to come to a peaceful resolution with the issues we had. We wanted a nice quite week and got a stressful, unpleasant time while we were at the cabin. My advice, if you have a chance to rent else where...do! If you have a complaint, do not go to Andy unless you want to be yelled and swore at.

Its was great. They had four canoes, one row boat and a paddle boat FREE..for us to use. The place was nice and clean. Must note there is no tv... So bring a book to read or plan to go hiking and explore the place

We had a great week at the Log Home. The house is excellent, very clean and well maintained. We liked the location because it gave us a nice selection of lakes within a 30 minute drive, plus Lake Gegoka where the cabin is at offered good fishing as well. Being on a paved road was an added benefit. Andy has been an absolute pleasure to work with and has a really great property.
