Area Information
Jonesport is an unspoiled lobstering village on the coast of Maine. Located on a 12-mile peninsula “Down East” – in the middle of some of the last remaining undeveloped coastline. Day trips from Jonesport are hassle-free and as varied as your imagination: Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Campobello Island (FDR's summer get-away), Quoddy Loop lighthouses. Locally, hike the Nature Conservancy's Great Wass Island trails, go antiquing, swim on the sandy beach, eat fresh lobster, crab and wild blueberries. Enjoy the waterfront - read, relax, watch the tide come in and out, and canoe or kayak right from the property with ease.

June 2013
thank you so much for letting us stay in your home, we had a great time eating the lobster and looking for sea glass at low tide...the highlight of our trip was getting to go from Lubec over to Campebello Island, without passports, so wondering whether we would be left back into the US was a little unnerving but the views from the island were spectacular. We look forward to future trips so thank you again.
