Great place for a FUN family vacation!

Our family enjoyed staying in this beautiful home on Sawyer's Cove! The house had everything we needed, the kitchen was well-equipped and the beds were very comfy! Having countless wild blueberries to pick in the backyard was an unexpected perk!! We tried not to eat them as fast as we picked them! Our children loved being right by the water and having such a large grass area to play baseball, soccer and other games. The town of Jonesport is so beautiful and everyone we met was very friendly. We did lots of hiking and exploring the gorgeous coastline, and our kids LOVED playing in the lowtide muck, searching for creatures in tidepools and looking at interesting rocks at Jasper beach! We also enjoyed cooking and eating lobster and eating the yummy blueberry pie from the blueberry place down the road. We would highly recommend this place to other families!! :-)
thank you so much for letting us stay in your home, we had a great time eating the lobster and looking for sea glass at low tide...the highlight of our trip was getting to go from Lubec over to Campebello Island, without passports, so wondering whether we would be left back into the US was a little unnerving but the views from the island were spectacular. We look forward to future trips so thank you again.
Quotes from Summer of 2008:
Hi, We really enjoyed our stay. The girls were using their laptops. …Thanks again for renting your house to us. All of us (all ages) had a great time and enjoyed the serenity. … Thanks again, M-
So we're back home and we all miss Jonesport and your nice little house. We had a great time exploring almost the entire Down East coast. We spent our last day at Rogues Bluffs beach on a gorgeous sunny day … We will certainly keep your house in mind for any future trips to the Maine coast! Regards, T-
