Wake up to the sun rising over the sparkling Atlantic Ocean. Watch heron fish for breakfast in the flats below as you drink your coffee. Stretch out on the balcony while flocks of pelicans soar above you and the rocks disappear and reappear with the tide below you. Sip a cocktail and watch the sailboats glide along the crystal blue sea at sunset.
This spacious condo is located right on the Atlantic Ocean and directly faces the water, with ocean views from the kitchen, living area, master bedroom and bathroom, and of course the large private balcony! Recently renovated and refurnished, it includes new, high-end furniture and modern electronics, appliances, and other amenities. You can't ask for a better pairing of comfort and natural beauty.
The condo complex is located in a quiet, secluded area and is adjacent to Oceanside Marina, one of Key West’s premier deep-water marinas. It is the perfect location to enjoy Key West’s best asset: the ocean. Bring your own boat and rent a slip at the marina or hire a charter just steps from your door. Whether you want to explore the endless islands in the Gulf or go out to catch your dinner, you’re in the right place. Oceanside Marina is “host to over 400 [International Game Fish Association] world records…more than any other marina in the United States!”

-- AGE RESTRICTION: No occupants under the age of 25 are allowed unless accompanied by a guardian.
-- GROUPS OF 5-6: This condo is best suited for groups of 4 or less. However, groups of 5 - 6 will be considered on a case-by-case basis. In such situations, a fee of $25 per person per night for the 5th and 6th guest will be added to the base rate.
-- USE OF EXTRA BEDS: Bedding for the lounges in the second bedroom is not typically accessible to guests. In situations where one or both of the lounges will be converted to beds, arrangements must be made in advance so that bedding can be provided. Please also be aware that these lounges must remain in the second bedroom at all times.
While our location provides an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean, a (potential) con to this location is that you will not be in the middle of the action -- we are roughly 5 miles from Duval Street -- and you cannot get around easily on foot. I think guests would be happiest with a car, although some will be happy with bikes or taking cabs. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation with views of the sparking sea and bird and marine life, proximity to many marinas teeming with water activities, and a new, bright, well-appointed, and spacious apartment with the amenities of home and a pool to boot, I think you will be happy here. If you are looking to step outside and have bars, shops, restaurants, and people on your doorstep, you will probably not be happy here.
One covered and reserved parking spot comes with the condo. There is also a parking lot out front that typically has plenty of extra spaces.

Better than ice cream!
May 16, 2014
I spend a week in Key west this time every year with my cousins, in celebration of one's birthday. We have a goal to always find a place to stay that allows us the most time all together. We have found some nice places on VRBO but this welcoming home captured our hearts the moment we entered. The attention to detail was impeccable. The view was gorgeous. The beds were cozy. Linens comparable to a four star hotel. Peaceful and serene. All the wants taken care of. We fell in love, so will everyone.
Key West Hideaway

We stayed on April 18 - 22, 2014. This condo offers 2 great bedrooms, a superb kitchen and living room and a view of the Atlantic that is fabulous. Great big screen TV and sound system. Nice pool and private location. The ad is correct in every way. The location is far from the action of Devaul Street so plan on renting a car to get around. Recommend that you go to Bahia Honda on both high and low tides. If you snorkle or dive get to Looe Key. For sure swim at Fort Zachery Taylor beach. ***Have a pizza at the No Name Pub in Big Pine Key. Near the condo try the Hogfish Bar and Grill the fish tacos are the best. The best for last - make a call to the Westin Hotel down by where the cruise ships dock, they have a free ferry to Sunset Key. Have lunch there or dinner and see the sun set. There's a lot more ... Jet ski around the island...Sloppy Joe's night life...Smather's beach...have fun! Be sure to stay at this condo ... No worries!

This place is awesome! We have traveled to Key West many times and consequently have stayed in many places, but this condo is a true gem. The view was fantastic the furnishings were classy yet comfortable. The surrounding area was peaceful...totally unexpected of a Key West location during Spring Break. The owner and the property manager were both very willing to answer questions before, during and after our stay which was truly appreciated. The next time we're visiting the Lower Keys we'll try to stay here!

This condo was one of the most incredible find we found we discovered while searching the internet. After staying there it was even more then we expected. Rating it between 1 and 10 .10 doesn't tell it all. The owners the realtor and the property was a dream come true. We are looking forward to next year. The place to be!

Breakfast with sharks!
March 29, 2014
I have rented in Florida few times before, and this condo was by far the most beautifully decorated: everything is new, very clean and high quality, and the attention to detail was flawless. The condo was spacious enough for two couple and two young children, and we all enjoyed the view from the gorgeous balcony - having breakfast while watching boats, birds and sharks (yes, sharks!) in the ocean right from the balcony was an amazing way to start the day before going to the city or beaches. The condo is located in a small marina, a short drive from Key West (10-15min, depending on traffic) - we needed a car for everything. This was not a problem for us: a car is essential in the Keys if you want to enjoy the nearby attractions, like Bahia Honda. Also, being away from the main city was a plus during March break: we did not want to hear the late night noises from Duval Street ... The marina is close to the airport and the naval base, so we could also see airplanes from our window during the day - there were no night flights, so the noise was not a problem. There is a small pool in the condo, as well as a hot tub, and the kids loved it. Tess, the owner, was quite helpful in organizing the details, and her mother, Mimi, who lives locally was a major factor in making this a perfect stay: she was a delight to work with, very responsive to our questions and very knowledgeable of the region. Overall, we had an excellent week at a fantastic condo, which served as our amazing "home base" for all our day trips to Key West and the other Keys.

Meticulous, comfortable condo ... an excellent cho

Our party of 4 absolutely enjoyed this condo. It is extremely well appointed, very clean, and full of amenities. The kitchen is outstanding and well equipped ... better than our own homes! Our group had a great time cooking and using the kitchen. The condo is about 5 miles from the downtown area of Key West, but it was worth the nice escape. The oceanside views are excellent for a great outdoor evening or morning breakfast. The owners are very accommodating and were a pleasure to work with.

Tess has taken great pains to do this place well. I would not change a thing about it. Location, location, location! All the wise amenities to make one's stay comfortable and nicest part of it all is that it is very homely and inviting. It is so easy to get lost in the comfort and nature's beauty. Latest kitchen equipments, wine cooler and ice-cream maker! Comfortable and clean beds. Just the right "big" bathrooms. Oversize balcony for all the guests to sit comfortably and enjoy spectacular atlantic views together. Publix grocery store is a short ride away and may I say that even their Key Lime pie(Mango) was awesome. If I had all the money in the world I would stay at Tess's condo forever.

A gorgeous retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our family of 2 grown ups and 2 kids had a wonderful time at this place, very nicely decorated and appointed with all the necessities. Great kitchen, nice bedrooms, one with a spectacular view and one with its own couch and seating area. The balcony is to die for. Set away from the business of the center of Key West so there's a 10 min drive or a bike ride to town but we liked that -- we had our own little retreat. And the pool was great. Mostly had it all to ourselves actually. The owner is really nice and very on top of it -- she checked in to make sure everything was as it should be and even offered assistance finding attractions and tickets. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future getaways! Thanks for a great vaca, Tess!
