Reviews for this vacation condo rental in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii
Thunder Bay, ON Canada
October 29, 2011
This condo is beautifully decorated in a Hawaiin theme and has a view of the ocean from the balcony and bed. It is clean and stocked with big beach towels, chairs, coolers, everything you could ask for in a kitchen, wireless internet and much more. The Nani Kai Hale building is extremely well taken care of and has a very nice pool, bbq's and a grassy area that you can hear nothing but birds and waves in the morning. Sugar beach is a nice long sandy, quiet beach. The water looks dirty at first, but once you go a few feet out it's crystal clear, I think it's just the way the tide comes in. The beach and area does get quite windy in the afternoon though. The Kihei area has many restaurants and shopping to enjoy and a short car ride will take you anywhere else on the island. The only minor things with this condo is you can hear some traffic during the day (if this is something that will bother you) and the floors are a nice tile that is a bit hard on the feet (so bring slippers). Our experience with the owners, Jennifer and Rolf was excellent, they even gave us a welcome gift upon arrival. Overall, we had a amazing time and this condo is at a fabulous price and well worth checking out.

Nice place. Very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with all necessities!! We were a little disappointed the 2nd bedroom was acutally the loft. I thought it would be a closing door type of room on the same floor as the other bedroom PLUS a loft. But I probably misread it. The area was great with a variety of restaurants. Make sure to eat breakfast at Kehei Cafe. Molikini was a highlight! Road to Hana was very beautiful and the Botanical Gardens LOVELY. Had a nice time overall though a tad hot. Prefer Kauai over Maui...but the accomodations were good. We love the pool and hot tub too!
