Although the apartment is nice and comfortable, the owner was a pest and deliberately kept disturbing my vacation time so he can get paid, because according to him, he's been burned before. I tried to pay him with every means possible so he would go away, but it felt like he wouldn't let me out of the apartment if I didn't show him money. First off, it wasn't the apartment shown in the picture, which is what I was expecting, secondly, as soon as I had entered and spoke with his apartment manager, and paid her with a check, he shows up and immediately starts to complain that he had said cashiers check, money order, or cash. So, I said fine, I have some cash, and paid him bout 3/5 of the payment. Although my check would have cleard he could have taken another one for the rest of the amount and left me alone, but no. He instead has his manager again call me 9 am the next day to collect. I would have liked to sleep in and enjoy a beautiful day but instead I had to go to the bank, to get the rest of the deposit, which by the way was returned to me the next day after I checked out. Waste of time and money. There are other places, look elsewhere. At least at the hotels they accommodate your inconvenience by giving you a free meal or something.
