We have stayed here many times. We love sit and have our meals on the Lanai . From the 13th floor you can see the turtles swim by and watch the people playing at the beach. This is an awesome place and we highly recommend it. The water is warm and a very private beach. The bed is comfortable with soft sheets. Don't worry about bringing towels, plenty of towels and beach toys at the condo. We love it so much, we will be back again next year.

stayed at Freds spacious condo for 8 days. The Hawaiian princess building is situated on a very nice part of the island up the eastern coast. Although the building was built in 1980 it seems to be kept in pretty good condition. they have new elevators and while I was there they had workers on a scaffold working on windows/or railings.this was no inconvenience at all. Freds condo is on the 13th floor of 18 floors. It is on the corner that affords the best of views. If I was to have my choice of any condo in the building, it would probably be his. He has new appliances with just about any cooking untensils you could ever need. He was very prompt and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend his condo.

Home Away From Home

We were lucky enough to stay here for a little over a week, and what a treat it was! Every sunset was stunning, we watched sea turtles and even whales from our wrap around lanai, if there were 5 people on the beach, it was a busy day! What a blessing to have for this unit on the 13th floor ;0) Sheer heaven! We would book here again in a heartbeat! Thank you Fred!

Time in paradise

This is the fourth time we have stayed at the Hawaiian Princess, and the second time for unit 902. We love the accommodations. The view is spectacular, and the beach is the best one we've found on the four main Hawaiian islands. Kathy is a gem to work with. Everything one needs except for food is provided. The out -of-the -way location (not on the tourist path) makes it seem like your own private enclave. The gated property and friendly security compliment the relaxed atmosphere. Fellow vacationers and residents are more than willing to offer tips and experiences for your choosing. We can't wait to return!

Unit 1508 is FANTASTIC!
October 21, 2013
So, I read a ton of reviews on Yelp before I decided to book the Hawaiian Princess and am so happy I decided to give them a try! Specifically, unit 1508, a very clean, 1 bedroom, newly upgraded, well decorated (think Tommy Bahama island) corner unit. Corner unit being key, the views were spectacular, literally on a fantastic beach with great swimming, and you have your own private, locked gate so no one can walk up to your door. The unit is well stocked in the kitchen, nice washer dryer, plenty of towels and 4 big beach towels, 2 beach charis. I found the staff very friendly (just be courteous and follow rules about washing sand off before heading into condo), parking was easy and secure. I am fairly picky about my lodgings and this unit was perfect, super clean, no bugs, really comfortable couch and furnishings. In terms of the area, it's true there are NO touristy places here..it's all very working class and local and is basically at the end of the road of the leeward side, but I felt safe always and the locals were super nice. So the deal is, if you are fine with a more remote location, ( it's also not as lush as the other side of the island) and are cool with shopping at the well stocked local market, don't need a bunch of nightlife....if you are really just wanting to spend a bunch of days on a perfect beach, with clear warm water and have a clean nice, QUIET, condo with awesome views right on the sand, this is the spot for you. Nothing fancy, totally local. Didn't even go to the small pool. Lots of older people live here, this is not a loud party type condo at all....hardly even heard other people the whole week....mellow and relaxing.

There's nothing better than to have breakfast on the balcony and see dolphins playing and turtles swimming in the ocean. What an incredible way to start each day. Accommodations were great. The beach was great, not crowded at all. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation.

More then enough space for a family of four. All the amenities of home with an amazing view of the ocean. Saw turtles everyday from the balcony and whales the one day. The beach was unbelievably quite - with maybe 30 people at its busiest. Couldn't ask for a nicer place to spend a vacation.

Best beach on Oahu
November 19, 2011
Great unit w/ tremendous views. We live in Hawaii and know this is the best sandy beach on Oahu that few people know about. We were able to see turtles and a pod of about a hundred dolphins from the balcony. Beautiful sunsets every evening. Only negative is the unit needs updating. The bed is soft, carpets old and a few things need fixing. This is a minor setback. The place has too many good things that outweigh this one flaw.
A VIEW THAT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND

I have never been motivated to write a review in my life. We have stayed in 4 and 5 star resorts all over the world and dollar for dollar you could not get a view like this for under $800.00 per night. If you want to really relax, enjoy the sound of ocean, take long walks swim and snorkel and just be at peace. You would be very hard pressed to find a better spot any where at any price.

We had a wonderful vacation at the Hawaiian Princess. The location was perfect, right on the beach away from the crowds. The beach was quiet, uncrowded with beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed the snorkeling and seeing the turtles. All the locals we met were friendly and helpful.
The condo was very nice, clean, roomy and fully equipped. Having the corner unit was great because of the extra space and extra bathroom.
The master bedroom room was spacious and we enjoyed seeing and hearing the ocean from the bedroom.
We enjoyed the gas barbecues and the pool and jacuzzi.
The condo and beach were prettier than the pictures.
We had a great time and plan to return.
