Perfectly located apartment
September 25, 2014
We had a wonderful and very positive stay. The building is amazing, perfectly located and the apartment itself had everything we could think of for a perfect 11-day stay. Besides we had a wonderful warm welcome. The owner was there at our arrival and was very helpful explaining to us everything we could need in our stay. We really feel at home!!!
Location Excellent easy access to all Manhattan

activities. Building personnell very good. Apartment was comfortable but low floor location a negative.
In the apartment description standard, universal letter prior to guest's decision to stay here is the following:
"The apartment is clean, quiet and private. It also has good lighting, and no special view, but most of us spend only sleeping time in our apartments and live out and about in the City, so to speak."
Note the description: "no special view..." Apartment is on the 6th floor and quiet; a view often means "view + noise from street..."
comfortable at-home feeling

Clean, well-maintained, comfortable. Everything we used in the kitchen worked. Having basics like spices and salt & pepper in the cupboards is a plus. Pots and pans were in good shape. The large, flat-screen TVs and the comfortable sofa and chairs made the few evenings spent in the apartment feel like home. Looking forward to our return.
Excellent Lincoln Center location

Convenient to Lincoln Center, and bus and subway lines to mid-town, this apartment is perfect for theater, museum and shopping. Comfortable living and sleeping areas, and modest but fully furnished kitchen. Quiet location in a well-serviced building. Lovely owner, anxious to be helpful. Highly recommended.
Pleasant and confortable

My wife and daughter stayed here from Dec.29-Jan.3 and enjoyed the apartment, location, and area atmosphere. The Owner met us right on time and frequently aquainted us with the specifics and provided her phone number should we have any need to contact her. I would not hesitate to recommend this property tio anyone visiting NYC.

After about 10 times in NYC staying in hotels, we opted for a private apartment this time - and it was simply and clearly the better choice. This specific apartment had everything we were looking for - great location, great neighbourhood, steps to Central Park. The family renting it out is lovely, and we felt right at home from the very first moment. The kitchen is more than fully equipped (we ended up not using it since there are so many great places just around the corner, including picnics in the park). The furniture is high quality and looks almost new. The whole place is clean and really well taken care of. Thanks everyone for the great stay!!!!
This really is a 5 star place

Fantastic apt./great location - highly recommend!

My girlfriend & I stayed here for 5 nights in mid-Sept & just loved it! Everything was as shown in the pics, it's large by NY standards and (best of all), much quieter than expected. I had taken earplugs (which I use in L A), but didn't need them!! My friend found the sleeper-couch comfortable & I was more than happy with the queen-size bed! The entire apt. is beautifully furnished and well-maintained. Leading up to the stay, all e-mail responses were prompt and detailed and we were met at the apt. the evening we arrived. The 1st morning we had a problem with the shower not draining well and, after one phone call, the owner made sure this was attended to right away. The location of this apt. is ideal, so close to Central Park and Columbus Circle (where there's a subway station) and around the corner from Lincoln Center. One of our best meals was at Rosa Mexicano, adj. to the apt. building. Also very close by is PJ Clarke's (was recommended to us, but we never got the chance to induldge), & Starbucks is a hop, skip & jump. All in all I cannot recommend this highly enough and would absolutely stay here again.

Everything we had hoped for.

We stayed at this lovely apartment for 6 days in late Sept/early Oct. and were more than satisfied. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and just a perfect location for those wanting easy access to museums, great restaurants, Lincoln Center, the theater district, bus and subway lines, Central Park, etc. We hope to return soon. P.S. Our best meal was at Nocello on 55th---an easy walk.

Great experience. Apartment was as advertised, clean, comfortable and with all amenities. Although there was a bit of a problem with having a third person for a couple of days(the owner's preference for only having two people should have been noted), everything ultimately worked out fine. This was our first time doing this type of arrangement but we were extremely pleased and grateful.

This apt. is as good as others have said and if you plan to be at Lincoln Ctr. you are about a 2 minute walk around the corner. A big plus is that you are also 2 blocks from the park and 2 from O'Neils, a terrific restaurant & bar. Many of the neighborhood musicians go there in the evening. We met a ballerina, a lieder singer, an NYU professor, and a music producer and made friends with them all. It's a very friendly place and their food is good too. An opera singer lives on the same floor as this apt. and we could hear him practicing in the afternoons. It was glorious! Order some Italian food from Sambuca while you're there. It is delicious, inexpensive and they deliver it to your apt. This review would have been 5 stars if they had taken a credit card. Otherwise it's perfect.

The apartment was beautifully kept, well stocked, quiet, conveniently located and it was a pleasure doing business with the rental agent. We would definately stay there again.

This apartment is clean, spacious and very quite. It is a wonderful retreat when the hubbub of midtown is getting to you. We walked everywhere..Town Hall, Radio city, MOMA, Iridium Jazz Club and of course The Lincoln Center right accross the street. This is a great alternative to noisy, expensive hotels.

This was a lovely apartment in a terrific location for a week in New York. It was 2 blocks from Central Park with close proximity to all forms of public transportation. The unit was surprisingly spacious (for NY!) and was clean and comfortable for two people, with all the amenities of home provided. I would definitely request this apt if I ever return to NY for an extended visit.
