Reviews for this vacation apartment rental in Manhattan, New York
DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS PROPERTY MANAGER!!!
May 9, 2012
My husband and I booked this apartment a few months ago for our upcoming trip to New York and paid a $250 deposit. 2 weeks before our holiday we received an e-mail from the property manager (?) Doron K (who appears to be in charge of the bookings for many of these apartments) saying it was double booked so we could't stay there any more. He also told us he had "very little liability on either side" of this double booking and got extremely confrontational when we said that we were upset about this. We have since been left to find alternative accommodation with days to go before our holiday. Thankfully we found a similar apartment only 3 streets away on West 14th for £300 less on airbnb. Through this site the owners don't take a $250 deposit from you and no-ne gets paid until 1 day after your satisfactory check-in.
