This 3 bedroom, 3 bath home has a refreshing feel to it the moment you walk in the door. Full of color to make your vacation days start and end on a happy note. The spacious foyer leads to the entry level sitting room with a walk out to the pool deck, a separate full bedroom with a queen size bed and adjacent bath which also opens to the sitting room.
Taking the entry staircase will lead you to the upstairs landing which has a reading nook and opens to the living, dining and kitchen ares. Windows and French Doors bring in the views! A wide, screen porch runs along the back of the house and overlooks the pool, canal and a glimps of the ocean across the island. A dining table and lounge chairs make it a great spot to relax or dine outdoors but under cover.
Clean and bright, the kitchen has all the amenities and a pass through bar area. The master bedroom has a queen bed and private bath with shower. Second bedroom opens to the living area and shares a hall bath that has a shower and separate tub.
The back yard has a terraced deck with a lovely pool and a separate jacuzzi/hot tub. A teak table and chairs offers another dining spot and the Weber gas grill is steps away. The canalfront dock is suitable for a 25' or less boat and there is a floating dock for easy access to the canal for kayaks, two complimentary kayaks are included. The canal has quick access to the ocean.
Other amenities are high-speed internet WIFI service, TV and DVD in living room. TV in master bedroom, upstairs guest bedroom and downstairs sitting area. Stereo up and down. Central A/C upstairs with 2 wall units down, one in the sitting area and one in the bedroom, washer dryer, dishwasher, microwave oven, first floor breakfast bar and second refrigerator for beverages! Bait freezer and a fish cleaning table complete the picture.
The home is within a half mile of Sombrero Beach, a nice walk, short bike ride or very short drive and it is a fabulous Keys beach!

Very clean and comfortable

We have rented many houses. This home was one of our favorites. Not fancy but so livable. We had 3 couples. Very quiet , never heard any other people in the house. Very well supplied as far as dinnerware , pans, grill, pool was great . Really enjoyed the French doors open all the time with the screened porch. Love to sleep with all the windows and doors open. Location is awesome. It was great to walk to Somboro beach every morning Kitty was very attentitive . We would definately rent from Florida vacation rentals again. Thanks for a great vacation

This rental has good qualities but bad ones as well that cannot go unmentioned. The pool area is great, amazing area to lounge. The dock is nice but the canal ruins it, it is very dirty and it smells. The bottom floor of the house runs on 2 wall unit AC's which turned out to be great as the central ac upstairs tends to freeze. When the central ac froze we noticed the manual mentions the AC cannot be dropped to less than 70 deg. F. if so the AC may freeze and it will be charged to the tenant if they call the issue in. Fortunately we were able to sit on the first floor while the central AC defrost. The first floor has great views of the pool area and dock, the second floor balcony is spacious and covered with a screen which made it enjoyable for game night and reading a book. Last but not least the whole house was clean and in good condition with the exception of the bottom bathroom, as it is old and looks like it hasn't been cleaned for months (so I cleaned it myself).

The first thing we had to do is to go shopping since there was only a half a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, no dish or laundry detergent(even though you are expected to wash dishes and do laundry) and no salt and pepper! After it rained the master bedroom ceiling leaked and totally drenched the bed. It was apparent that there was a leak due to the water stains on the ceiling, however it was not repaired. No compensation was given for our inconveinence.

Beautiful home with a great location. Good ocean access. Inside of home was fairly well kept the only disappointment was the 3rd bedroom located on the bottom floor isolated from the rest of the home. The pool was great ...dock was perfect. All things considered it was a good vacation home!
