Relaxing and Comfortable
July 13, 2014
We stayed at this property at the end of January, as Provincetown is beautiful during the offseason. The house is brand newly done over, with gorgeous hardwood floors, new comfortable leather living room furniture, and there are tons of cozy blankets to snuggle up with! There is a 50-inch television with Apple TV in the living area and a superb surround sound system, which I really enjoyed.
The kitchen has all brand-new stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, making it a whole lot nicer than my home's kitchen!!! There is a tall table with high chairs for eat-in kitchen experiences. The dining/living room area has a much larger dining table for more formal occasions.
We used the upstairs bedroom that has a view of the ocean, and it was extremely quiet. There is a 50-inch television with cable in this bedroom, so it was nice to watch a show or two before falling asleep.
A really nice amenity of this place is that it is across the street from the beach. There are several paths you can take to walk out and enjoy the ocean, which is always calming. We plan to return this summer so we can take advantage of this.
Probably the most important thing of all for us was that we could take our dog with us. Many places these days do not allow dogs, but at this rental, it is actually encouraged! The owners are dog lovers themselves, so they understand those of us who do not want to be without our pets. Our dog was instantly comfortable in this home, mainly because it is so quiet and has loads of blankets!
We will definitely be returning to this place. It is a short drive to downtown Provincetown, or you can take the shuttle during the in-season. Biking into town or to close-by beaches is something else you could do. I personally enjoy staying outside of the downtown area, because it is quieter and more serene.
Thank you for the incredible stay! We loved our time spent here!
