Reviews for this vacation home rental in Massanutten, Virginia
Virginia Beach, VA

We liked the set up of the place. The kitchen was well equipped and the view was very good. At night, the heat downstairs was unbearable causing me to get up at 4 m to turn it down. The grill did not work and the draw on the chimney was not very good. It is also unfortunate that the rent did not include access to the recreation center and one could not be purchased. The next time we go back we will look for one with better access to the amenities.

Whether you’re looking for that peaceful retreat conducive to kicking back with a good book and a quiet mountain walk or hike; or if you’re looking for that just perfect home to gather with friends and family…this is your rental. We have used this property twice now and experienced both of what is described above. Our memories are long and meaningful of the time we have spent in this beautiful mountain home. The perfect place to gather with family and friends whether celebrating a simple get together, or as we did, family weekends at James Madison University, and JMU graduation 2009. This property has it all, location, convenience, size and comfort surrounded by the wildlife and beauty of Massanutten Mountain. It’s also close to “fun” …golf, fishing and perhaps the largest water park you’ve ever seen all within minutes of your front door. Families and couples alike are seen enjoying all that this location has to offer. And to return at the end of the day to those
