Family trip to Branson

“ Excellent ”
August 20, 2014
The townhouse/cabin we rented for a short family vacation was perfect for our needs. We had a grandparent couple and three adult children with their families stay at the cabin. With the four "master" bedrooms, each family unit had their own sense of privacy, while still enjoying time together in the open concept kitchen/living area and family room (basement - mainly the kids hung out down here and played with the toys/watched DVDs - there's even a door to keep the sound from carrying upstairs!). The kids also enjoyed the two swings on the screened in porch. There were nice toys available in the basement, as well as a nice selection of DVDs and a few games. Each bathroom also was provided with ample towels and the same shampoo, soaps, etc., you find in hotels. Though the upper bedrooms are much "nicer" than the two in the basement, the accommodations downstairs were more than okay for our needs. There were coffee filters, tea, sugar, salt/pepper/spices and other needs in the kitchen, and soap for dishes. The only non-provided essential that we thought we were getting was laundry detergent, but it looked like someone just forgot to leave a few pods in the ziploc under the sink - we just bought a cheap bottle in town and left the remainder for the next guests - I think we also left some coffee! The decor is very nice and has that "cabin/country" feel to it - it felt like we were at home. My only recommendations to the owners: some of the doors were a little squeaky and could use some WD-40, as could the red couch, and maybe adding bedside table in the basement bedroom with the trundle bed would be nice. But, these are non-concerns when you consider this property was perfect for our needs! Thanks for a great stay!!
