We escaped to this lovely place for a two day recovery from our wedding.
We could not have found a more perfect place to start our lives together.
Every detail is beautiful, unique, and inviting.
Even our little dog enjoyed basking in the sunspots around the cottage.
We are leaving today re-energized and grateful for this little home-away-from-home.
We will surely return someday soon.
Thank you for everything…the food was phenomenal!

My husband and I stayed two days at Blue Moon for the beginning of our anniversary trip to Nashville. Had I realized how lovely Blue Moon would be we would have never planned to stay in Nashville for the rest of the week. As busy professionals, we only get away for pleasure about two or three times a year and I like to make the most of it by staying somewhere we know will be lovely. The Inn on Biltmore Estate (Ashville) and Milliken Creek (Napa) have become two of my favorite places. Now I am happy to say I will add Blue Moon to that list.
The guest cottage is beautiful and the bathroom is a luxurious treat! The setting is so romantic with plenty of space for a romantic picnic at Sunset. From the decor, to the linens and the big tub and huge shower, everything is very well done. Susan is a wonderful host. She is around as much or as little as you need her. We only called on her one time during our 2 day stay and only utilized her superb culinary skills for one meal. Next time we plan on having more "home cooked" meals at the cottage.
Downtown Franklin is a great place to visit with the antique shops and lovely specialty stores... Also, nightly music at some resturants and Nashville is just a short drive away for more lively nightlife. Arrington vinyards is also a great short trip to make from the farm and Susan will help with a picnic if you plan ahead. I would reccommend this for any couple looking for a romantic, relaxing getaway

Spend the money and live a little. The coolest bathroom on the planet. Fully stocked kitchen, gorgeous scenery, wonderful host. We both had smiles on our faces all the way home to Memphis.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a 2 day midweek romantic get away. We were not disappointed in a thing! The cottage is absolutely beautiful- peaceful, romantic and quiet! The kithen was well stocked with anything we needed including homemade cookies laid out for our arrival. We are already discussing when we can go back and stay again!!!!!

I checked into Blue Moon as a single for a wonderful night of rest and relaxation. The atmosphere is perfect for that! I watched the sunset, enjoyed a delicious dinner whipped up by the owner herself, had the most relaxing bath of my life, and a great night's sleep!
The cottage is immensely private and tastefully decorated. Every need is anticipated and comfort is unavoidable! I can't wait to go back. :)
