Reviews for this vacation cabin rental in Nashville, Indiana

This house was terrific. It had everything we could possibly ask for and so many extras. The area was great And so much land to roam around on. Everyone in my family enjoyed themselves. Only thing we found strange was we didn't find a master bedroom with a bathroom as advertise. Would definitely come again.
We are very glad that you enjoyed your stay and that you will come and stay with us again. I cannot find anywhere that it speaks of a Master bedroom and master bath on our information so do you mind letting me know where that might be so I can get it corrected. Thank you for the review.
Beautiful Fall Mountain Setting

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Visiting the Nashville community and walking through the shops was a pleasure. We took the opportuniity to cook our meals at the cabin but did eat at the downtown Mexican restuarant once - receiving good service and delicious food. Everything we needed was available in the cabin. The location is great and working with the owner was a pleasure. We were a group of adults only and found it a little difficult to climb the steep stairs to the two lofts, but a family with children/teens would probably greatly enjoy the lofts. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplaces inside and building a fire in the outside pit. We enjoyed walking the area to see the pond and the donkeys. The swing is a joy even for adults. Everyone should ride it at least once! Thanks for a very nice vacation.

Awesome home...clean, well maintained! Perfect for our family getaway including both teens and adult children. Ken thought of everything, including plenty of clean fresh towels, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, hand soap, coffee and filters. He even left some candy! So much to do both in town and at the house. The swing and outdoor firepit as well as hot tub were utilized and enjoyed tremendously! We will definitely be back!

"PERFECT!" That sums it up. Ken was a most gracious host and if we needed anything at all, he was right there. The only thing that would have been better is if he hung out with us. The property is beautiful and Ken thought of everything. The accomodations were great, plenty of towels and kitchen items. All the way down to the swing and Figaroe, the resident cat that was always greeting us. Would love to return regularly. Could not have asked for a more ideal setting and my entire party loved the down time. Thanks Ken!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The cabin was well equiped and the rental company was very accomodating. A couple of small suggestions...accusticks were terrible becasue of the openess of the loft, even though we loved the loft, we heard everything. Would have been great to have a flat area close to the house. Beside the steps or down to the right of the house so we didnt feel like we were in the road. My parents had a dificult time with the rocky area before the steps. What a wonderful settingand a beatiful house. Enabled us to escape our computers and jobs and concetrate on family time.

We loved the lodge. We loved the swing!!!! We loved Wilbur and think he is a priceless asset for your cabin rental. Obviously the location is great and beautiful and close to the state park. Our only concerns were the stairs to the lofts being a little dicey for us "old" folks and a lack of night lights left us with a broken lamp due to running into a table in the middle of the night. We had a great stay and would absolutely recommend this rental to others!

Great Family Bonding Spot

For Thanksgiving I invited my adult children and their spouses, my 9 month old granddaughter and my brother and his son to spend a weekend together. The cabins were perfect!! We played pool, we played board games, the men played horseshoes, some of us were able to sit alone and talk by the fire, some of us enjoyed the hot tub and most of all we enjoyed each other's company in a relaxed atmosphere. I have lost both of my parents within the last 5 years and this weekend helped some of us reconnect. I would highly recommend it for everyone. The cabins are well-equipped for cooking, there is plenty of room to be together or have your own space to relax, and it only took a phone call to get help with regulating the furnace. The cabin is secluded but has a security gate and feels very safe.
Awesome Vacation Stay

Wow ... what an AWESOME Brown County, log cabin vacation home. Wonderful amenities ... great rooms, fireplaces, large kitchens, beautiful hand-sewn log bedroom furniture, pool table. Outdoors were great ... the rope swing was a blast (even grandma enjoyed it!), firepit, hot-tub (beautiful), basketball, hiking ... we even saw the donkey! I'd recommend it to anyone ... they have a website under their name ... check it out!
