Description of the New Port Richey vacation home rental
The home has a warm and country feel, and very comfortable. It is a large pool home in a peaceful setting. Within driving distance to many beaches!

The home has 4 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms downstairs, and another 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom upstairs.
There is a large living room, and a family room with a fireplace.
The dining room overlooks into the family room. You can view the pool area from the living room, the kitchen, and master bedroom.
The owner lives onsite, in a self-contained addition to the main house, and thus is available if any assistance is needed (see reviews).

It's in a great location near US 19 and SR 54 New Port Richey.
Go south towards Pinellas County to enjoy Tarpon Springs, Palm Harbor, Dunedin, and Clearwater with it’s wonderful beaches.
Tampa and Orlando are only an hour or two drive away, so you can easily visit all the attractions they have to offer!
Or, if just sitting by the pool with a cool drink and reading a good book is your thing, you will truly enjoy this peaceful get away.
Area Information
New Port Richey is a great area. We have lots of things to do here, but, you can easily go south towards Pinellas County and enjoy Tarpon Springs, Palm Harbor, Dunedin, and Clearwater with it's wonderful beaches. You can go north to enjoy the shopping/restaurants in Port Richey and a little further north will find you at Weeki Wachee. You can go east and head out towards Tampa, where you can enjoy anything your heart desires, and an easy 1 1/2 hour commute to Orlando to visit all the attractions. You will love being close to the Gulf of Mexico, and also still close enough to visit the activities in Tampa, and also Orlando.

3rd year in a row we have spent the month of March/April at 4043 Mariner Blvd in New Port Richey, FL. See my review of our first stay at Mariner House in 2013. Everything I wrote them still applies. That is why we have returned each year since. And each year it seems better and even more relaxing.

Great house for families!

We stayed in this lovely home for 3 weeks. I have 2 young children (aged 3 and 9 months) and we also took grandparents with us. The house itself was perfect for large families and Linda (the owner) couldn't have been more helpful. There were 4 bedrooms and all the beds were very comfortable. The house was clean, had everything we needed and more! The pool was great, very peaceful considering how close the house is to the US 19 highway. If we return to New Port Richey we would definitely rent this house again! It was great value for money and Linda really went out of her way to make us feel at home.

Our stay at Linda's New Port Richey home was most enjoyable.
The rooms were large and airy.
The kitchen windows overlooked at lovely enclosed in ground pool which overlooked a lagoon.
The egrets, gulls, and other birds swimming and diving for food entertained and educated us at the same time.
The home is fully equipped with all that you would need for your stay.

Hi Linda R (owner). and Linda F (Realtor) - Just a short note to let you both know how happy we were with renting Linda Ramsay-Wood's house at 4043 Mariner Blvd, New Port Richey for the month of April 2013.

The house was wonderful, spacious, clean, with all the modern amenities one could want. Furnishings were comfortable and homey, beds were very comfortable. The Jacuzzi tub in the master bath was an unexpected luxury. Kitchen was well-applianced and everything was intuitive and easy to use. Laundry facilities in the garage were convenient and also easy to use. The clothes dryer broke down and within a day a new one was delivered and installed, an indication of how considerate and thoughtful Linda is.

It is very convenient that Linda's apartment is attached to the house. She was a delightful hostess, quickly becoming more like a friend than a landlady. We thoroughly enjoyed her company, but she was never intrusive. She was nice enough to share her cats - Smokey, Oliver, and Moustache - with us and the cats were nice enough to adopt us and allow us to play with them. They were great company whenever we sat around the pool, especially while drinking our morning coffee. The enclosed pool was always very clean and offered a very comfortable place to enjoy the fresh air without being pestered by bugs. There was also a gas grill that we used several times.

The surroundings were very pleasant. The property backs onto a small lake and stream with lots of wildlife such as birds, geese, and ducks. They all contributed to a very bucolic setting even though we were just off Rte. 19, a very busy thoroughfare. There was never any indication that we were so close to a very busy major highway. There was a traffic light at our entrance that allowed quick and easy access to Rte. 19.

The surrounding area offered just about any retail offerings one could ever want - gas stations, restaurants, health clubs with short term memberships, car dealers, shopping malls. etc. A very convenient location.

There was also considerable parking available in front of the house so it was very easy to have some of our friends and relatives visit without parking being a problem.

In summary, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would certainly recommend it very highly to anyone interested in such a rental.

In addition, Linda Forgues, of Linda's Vacation Homes is an excellent Realtor and was very helpful in finding us this rental and very helpful in processing the rental agreement. Thank you Linda.

Linda, we both enjoyed your home on Mariner Street for the month of March 2013. While there was more than enough room for two people, it was very comfortable. The view of the pond overlooking the pool was exceptional (especially at night with a bright moon). It is centrally located and afforded us easy access to many interesting places( Bush Gardens, Tampa Art show, Tiger baseball, Tarpon Springs antique village, Sponge Dock, Clearwater Beach etc etc). It was also near some great dining (Catches, Nikos, Lucky Dill, Plakas Greek, Bahama Breeze etc etc). When we were not running around Florida, we were able to relax next to the pool in the Lanai and catch up on some reading. Thank you for a great vacation! Wayne & Bev, Clarkston, MI

February 2013 Rental Review from Marie from Canada - We spent one full month in Linda's home and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The home has everything that you would need for a comfortable stay and is very "homey" and spacious. The neighbourhood is very quiet and shopping is just a short distance away. Linda was extremely helpful and available for any assistance we required. We visited the sponge docks many times and enjoyed cycling in the area, such as the Pinellas Trail, J.B. Starkey Park, Sunshine Coast Trail
