We couldn't have stayed at a better place than mountain magic. The moment we pulled up, we were greeted by the sweet farm animals. Then as we entered the cabin, or breath was taken away at how quaint and cozy the place was. This is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. The cabin was clean and well maintained. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax after we spent the day skiing. And to top it off, the location was just a short driving distance to town and the many activities nearby.

Fantastic Get-a-way in Boone!

“ Excellent ”
July 15, 2015
We just finished our 8 day Vacation in Boone/ Blowing Rock. This cabin was awesome! We brought our two Bernese Mt. Dogs with us along with our two Children 10 & 11. Everything we needed down to dog bowls was in the cabin. With that said, I did go buy my own supplies, but when you get in the first night, you don't need to think about trash bags or toilet paper. The kids loved the bedroom with the two twins beds. They could watch their own shows on TV and "hang out". The porch is the best feature of this cabin. It's large, so relaxing, quiet, and you can just rock away in the rocking chairs. The dog screen was excellent. It allowed the dogs to come in and out from the porch. I'll admit I did clean a little while I was there, only because my dogs are big and their hair was bothering me. I did not have to clean for any other reason. Their housekeeper does a wonderful job between rentals. I know people have commented on the driveway. We drove down in a Chevy Suburban WITH a 14 ft trailer! It was challenging but not impossible. The covered carport was perfect for our trailer to fit under so our bikes and kayak were protected. The location is perfectly situated between Boone & Blowing Rock. We will definitely rent again if we don't buy down there first!!! Thanks, Mary & Tim!

I just love your cabin, especially the décor. They should feature your cabin in Southern Living. The location is perfect. You are out in the woods, yet 15 minutes from plenty of restaurants. Our favorite was Over Yonder. Thanks again for letting us stay. We have had a wonderful time.

Comfortable stay - Would Recommend

“ Excellent ”
January 3, 2015
The three bedroom two bath cabin was a nice fit for our family of five. Pros: There are plenty of restaurants within 15 minute drive to Boone or Blowing Rock. Also a Harris Teeter Grocery in Boone. TVs in each room, WiFi, Washer and Dryer, Had a nice griddle and pots and pans. The games were nice to have and we had a good time playing "Imaginiff" and other board games. There is a dishwasher. Hot tub stayed hot and seated 3-4 comfortably. Plenty of towels but a few were musty. Bring your own determent just in case you want to wash some. We forgot a bag and the owners/cleaning lady are mailing it to us. Very nice of them to assist. Cons: It was quite a drive to anywhere. Be sure to bring at least your first mornings breakfast food and coffee unless you want to make the drive out early in the AM. The hot tub was not quite as sparkling as the picture. Cabin is situated in the mountains but didn't really have a mountain view although it did have a nice winding drive to stroll down.
