Reviews for this vacation home rental in Panama City, Florida

Good location , however.......
July 28, 2014
I would like to start off by saying that we enjoyed our trip to Panama City Beach. It's really lovely and fun. The house we stayed in was in a great location. Easy distance to everything we wanted to do. We had eight people in the house. 4 adults, 4 kids ranging in ages from 7-18. Plenty of room. However, it is quite outdated and not adequately equipped for housekeeping. Although there were plenty of dishes, bowls, glasses, and cutlery, there was not near enough cookware. No mixing bowls, no BBQ grill utensils, nothing to really cook with at all. I am not at ALL, a gourmet cook and don't spend a lot of time in the kitchen but I do need a little more to work with than a small saucepan, one small skillet and a crockpot. Oh, and a blender. This may work for those who eat out a lot, not for those who tend to cook. Also, there were no cleaning supplies to keep up the maintenance and we had to rewash dishes that we're put away in dirty drawers and cabinets before we used them. Bedding was adequate but not comfy and there was an infestation of sugar ants we had to deal with. We have rented cabins and houses before for about the same price tag and they have always been fully stocked. If it isn't going to have something, it should be listed so the renter can be prepared for that. Instead, we had to purchase cleaning and cooking supplies. Again, we didn't let this deter us from having a fabulous vacation, but it did ensure that we avoid this particular beach house on our next trip to Panama City Beach.
