Downtown Phoenix condo
November 9, 2015
This condo was very clean and well kept. The air conditioning wasn't working and I contacted the owner who sent someone right out to fix it. Very convenient to the Convention Center. The only thing is that the laminate flooring is not glued down and it makes every footstep heard.

Perfect location, great condo
December 13, 2014
As a real estate professional, I know a good deal when I see one! We rented both condos from Brett and it was a great choice. We were only a 10 minute walk to the US Airways Center and an even shorter walk to the Phoenix Convention Center. The condo was clean, quiet and very comfortable. We walked to restaurants and enjoyed the easy access to the highways. Our overall experience was very positive and we will definitely book with Brett again.

Love the Downtown Area
April 13, 2014
We had a very nice month stay in the upstairs condo. It had everything we needed. The TV selection could use a little upgrade, but didn't really watch a lot with so many things to do in the downtown area. We used the light rail, which is easy to use. We found many fun places to visit and eat. Got to go to a few Dback games, which was in walking distance. Brett was very easy to work with. Had a overall nice stay.
Great Condo Downtown Phoenix
March 9, 2014
Brett is easy to work with and condo is quiet for being center city. Easy to get to and around without a rental car. Close to light rail line. 1 block easy walk to Convention Center.
loved the condo!!
February 26, 2014
Brett was great to work with, he was very helpful with ideas for restaurants that we should check out, he gave us ideas of locations to check out . The Condo is a very comfortable place to stay at and the location is great. You can walk to many things. We also took the light rail to Tempe that was fun. We would go back again. I don't have anything bad to say, loved it! Thanks again Brett for everything!!
Convenient location and clean!
February 11, 2014
This condo comes highly recommended by our family of five with three children ages 3, 5, and 7. The location is so ideal, being literally across the street from the heart of downtown Phoenix, yet in a very quiet, friendly, and safely gated community. We enjoyed our daily walks through downtown to coffee shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. The amazing 3-story Children’s Museum is right next door, where the families can come and go throughout the day. This is so convenient to walk back and forth for lunch and/or rests and naps, then go back to play. The owner of the condo is extremely easy to work with. He was very helpful, friendly, and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He provides a variety of maps, recommended restaurants, etc. We traveled with a total of 3 adults and 3 children and our stay was very comfortable in the downstairs unit (1 bedroom king bed, cot, and futon bed). There are plenty of kitchen utensils, dishes, and towels and the entire condo is extremely clean! Our ONLY complaint is that the pool is not heated, so in the winter months, it is way too cold for recommended use. But it is a beautiful pool with an attached hot tub. With the convenient location, cleanliness of the condo both inside and out, safe and quiet condo-community, accommodating to children, and the friendly, easy business relationship with the owner, we would recommend this stay.

Great place to stay for a family of four in the he
December 14, 2013
My family of four (myself, wife and two young children) stayed in this condo over a weekend to see a bit of Phoenix and visit with family. It exceeded our expectations! It is REALLY nice! The kids slept on the futon and we slept in the massive king bedroom. It has a FULL kitchen, which is way better than the kitchenette you might find in a typical hotel. This condo is a bargain for all the amenities. It is in a gated community, so I felt very safe with my family.

A Great Bargain and Lovely Accommodation
November 22, 2013
I visit Phoenix often, for work and pleasure. I have never had a better bargain, location and safe place to stay and enjoy the city that here, right near the Convention Center. This condo is deluxe in every way. It is quiet, well-decorated and just right for me. I look forward to being here every time I go to the Valley.

My husband and I stayed here for a staycation in April. We wanted a place where we could walk to dinner, have some privacy, and feel like we were out of town. This place was perfect. Easy walking distance to all the things downtown, comfortable, clean, and close to pool and spa! We love this place and all the amenities, everything we needed was there and it was much easier than going to a hotel because we did not have to pack every little thing. We decided we will be staying here from now on whenever we go to a sporting event or concert downtown.

Great experience in Downtown Phoenix!
November 15, 2012
We rented two units from Brett for a week long stay--both were in excellent condition! My husband and I stayed in the downstairs unit, while the rest of the family was in the upstairs unit, and that was very convenient for us! Each enjoyed some privacy, while being close enough to go to each others' unit for coffee in the morning, or meals later! Each unit was well stocked and had all of the things we needed, including games, movies, and plenty of towels (for showering and the pool). For my husband, it was an easy walk to the Phoenix Convention Center. For the rest of us, it was an even easier walk to the Arizona Science Center. (Side note--ASC is a great place for kids; we enjoyed it on two different days.) You are also an easy walk to public transportation; we only used that once because we also rented a car, but their system is very nice. Just a note about the car--there was lots of parking available in the complex. The grounds were well kept, as were the pools and spas. Brett was very responsive to our questions, and he welcomed us personally and went over procedures and amenities. Our overall experience was exceptional, and at half the price we were quoted for hotels in the downtown area! We would recommend these units to anyone staying in this area of Phoenix!
Best value near the Convention Center
November 4, 2012
We stayed four nights in Brett’s first floor condo while attending a conference at the Convention Center. We enjoyed being able to cool off in the pool and walk easily back and forth to the Convention Center and to the restaurants at the Arizona Center. Great lunches at The Corner Bakery (it would also have been a great choice for breakfast, but we ate that ‘at home’) and a delicious dinner at the Greek Restaurant followed by ice cream at Coldstone Creamery. The condo was spotless, with comfy bed, full kitchen, washer and dryer and everything we needed – even hair dryer and iron. Brett, the owner, was very easy to work with. We arrived late in the evening and did not have a car, so we took him up on his offer to purchase groceries for us ahead of time. This worked out well, as there are virtually no grocery or convenience stores nearby. Eventually we did find a CVS at 50 W. Jefferson, which had plenty of breakfast and lunch/snack items to buy. One tip for getting around, and giving directions to a taxi driver: You need to distinguish between streets and avenues as there is a big difference between 7th STREET and 7th AVE. We would definitely recommend this condo and would stay here again if we had reason to visit Phoenix again.

Great Condo, Excellent Location
July 5, 2012
I rented the upper condo during the 2012 Volleyball Festival. The place was totally immaculate and very comfortable. The location was a short walk to the convention center and many restaurants. If you're staying in downtown Phoenix for more than a couple of days, I highly recommend this place. Brett's condo offers all the comforts of home in a safe convenient downtown location.
BEST VRBO AVAILABLE IN DOWNTOWN PHOENIX
June 25, 2012
This property promises the experience that you desire. RIGHT DOWNTOWN. Lots of stairs, but the view is worth it. Excellent landlord handles everything immediately. Tops my list after about 50 of these rentals. Looks exactly like pictures. Can't wait to go back.

Great Condo Close to Chase Field and US Air. Cent.
April 20, 2012
I stayed at this condo to attend 3 baseball games at Chase Field. I don't think you could find a closer walk (thats what I was most interested in), it took between 5-10 minutes. It was a safe well-lit walk. The property itself was well-maintained and clean. Very cooperative property manager. Overall great experience. And I highly recommend this place, it's the only place I would stay at in Phoenix.

Rented the condo for spring training. Brett met us on arrival and checked us in and gave us some great local reviews of were to go and shop. Condo was super clean with everything you need. Fantastic location for restaurants and night life. Loved Cooperstown, Fridays at Chase Field and Rose and Crown right across the street. Great place to explore Phoenix.
February 21, 2012
Excellent experience. My wife and I were going to stay at a hotel while attending our trade show at the Phoenix Convention Center but found the ad for the condo from Wingate Condos. Brett, the owner of the condo was wonderful to work with. He even bought us groceries after we arrived because we didn't have a car to drive to the supermarket. The condo was very nice and very comfortable. The location was perfect, about 3 blocks to the Convention Center entrance. The bed was great, the kitchen had everything we needed. It was so much nicer than a hotel and we saved about $200 by staying in the condo. I hope we have another convention there so we can return to Brett's condo.

Photographer Simon Byrne was one of the lucky few given the secret location of a stunning sandstone formation called The Wave. Simon needed a special permit before he was given "rough guidelines" to find the phenomenon in a remote area of Arizona. Located somewhere in the 112,500 acre Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness, the Wave is near the Arizona and Utah border on the slopes of the Coyote Buttes. (Simon Byrne/Rex USA)

We just got back from Phoenix and was I ever happy about my choice on where to stay. This is truly the perfect Phoenix location, the hot tub is just a few feet away from the door which is used every night. The condo itself is so comfy, it felt like we were at a home away from home. Everything you need is there. All the kitchen appliances you'd ever need, Cable TV and DVD Player, Nice big King size bed and a futon in the living room. The Grounds and swimming pool areas are kept very clean and well maintained. Right across the street you can go eat at a trendy italian restaraunt, sample some great wines at "the winery" or just go have a great time and shoot a few games of pool at the local British Pub. If you're a Science buff, the Phoenix Science Center and IMAX theater is right across the street. We also wanted to go visit Scottsdale and it was only about a 10-15 min drive. If you're a baseball or basketball fan, you're only minutes away from the Professional teams stadiums as well. Also very close to a very cool mall and The Phoenix Museum of Art. When we go back to Phoenix we will for sure get the same condo

Great Conference Center Venue
November 29, 2011
I was visiting Phoenix for a conference and stayed with Brett. The condo was so close to the conference center. I was a little worried before I arrived about walking at night alone. But the walk was well light and I always felt very safe. The condo was beautiful, clean and easy to find. It was also a great place to make as a base camp when my husband came down after the conference to join me for a little vacation. I would definitely recommend the condo to anyone!

brett's unit is a great place to stay while visiting your asu student..walking distance and near restaurants..the pictures are accurate and the unit is very comfy..well-equipped, quiet, clean and better priced than the downtown hotels with parking included in the rate!..i usually stay in scottsdale and was quite happy not driving back and forth - had forgotten how much time that can take.brett will meet you at the gate and will be happy to recommend area restaurants.
Comfortable, convenient and economical
May 10, 2011
This condo is so convenient to all activities including places to eat, shop, Ball Park, convention center and the college. This place is clean and comfortable. The spa is right there making it a great way to unwind after a long day, in our case on the golf course. The convenience to the freeway makes this a great choice if you want to be central to all major areas. Brett, the owner and manager, was great to! He met us there and showed us everything we needed to know about the place and had even stocked the kitchen with snacks, coffee and fruit. The kitchen was fully appointed with all the cooking utensils we needed to prepare our own food, saving us both time and money. I highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a location in Phoenix.
Very Nice Condo

I loved the location of this place. There was so much to do and see within easy walking distance! Across the street is Heritage Square where we took a tour of the Rosson House Museum, a restored 1895 Victorian mansion that was absolutely beautiful. Also there was a small doll museum that enthralled us. In this square is Pizzeria Bianco. Don't leave without eating there! It is just like the pizza we ate in Italy. A very small place where people lined up way before their opening time of 5 o'clock just to get on the waiting list. We sat at the bar for the two and a half hour wait but it would be equally nice to wait at the condo! We were also able to see the Cubs at spring training which was only a 20 minute drive to Hohokam stadium in Mesa. As for the condo, all I can say is it's beautiful! It's clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated and the cost is much less than hotels in the area. There is a kitchen -we used it for breakfast, tea, and warming up our leftover pizza while we watched the Academy Awards! Just out the door is a small heated swimming pool with a larger (cooler) pool a bit farther away. The complex is gated and very quiet which made me feel very safe. Brett was wonderful, offering us tips on where to eat and things to do! When it was time to go home the taxi fare to the airport was just $15. All in all a great place to stay to access all that downtown Phoenix has to offer!
Perfect Location for downtown activities
March 5, 2011
This condo is in a fantastic location for any downtown activity! Walk outside the gate and turn left and you have Chase Stadium a block away with a really fun TGI Fridays overlooking the outfield. On the next block is the U.S. Airways Center where the Suns play. Plus there is a Hard Rock Café across the street from there if you collect pins like I do. The Light rail line is along this street and really easy to use for longer treks. We caught the light rail and took a short ride to the Heard Museum which has art and culture of the Native American people. A block from there is the Phoenix Art Museum which was very large and diverse. Then it was back on the light rail for an easy trip home. In the other direction of the condo, turning right when you exit the gate, you find the Children’s museum. If you cross at the light and walk up a block or two you’re at the Convention Center. Down another block is the Arizona Center where you’ll find a movie theater, restaurants and shops. We ate at Sam’s Café where the enchiladas and margaritas were amazing. There was a Greek restaurant and a really nice steak house plus Hooters, Subway, and a few others to choose from. Nearby is the Herberger Theater and the Arizona Science Center which we didn‘t have time to see. Also a block away from the Arizona Center you can find the Downtown Phoenix Ambassador Information Center. The Ambassadors wear orange shirts and are available every day to help with places to eat, escorting you to y

Phoenix area exploration
February 22, 2011
We enjoyed this comfortable and well appointed unit. The central location allowed us to explore the Phoenix area, get in some golf and hike in several parks. Interested in golf? Check out Golfnow website for some great courses at some very reasonable prices. A lot to choose from! Next to the last day, we saw a 3 course package offered at Kokopelli which included rounds at 3 courses in 30 days at a very attractive price. South Mountain Park/Preserve, just a few minutes down the road, is well worth exploring as was the Desert Botanical Gardens, and a little further out the McDowell Mountain Reg. Park
Happy Convention Attendee.
November 18, 2010
I had a conference at the Convention Center for 6 days. So with an 8 month old baby, we knew we had to find a VRBO. The VRBO units close to the Convention Center seemed to go pretty quickly for these savvy Convention attendees, so we were happy when Brett replied right away. It turned out even better than I expected. The whole complex is very clean and a short walk to the convention center (just as close as the conference hotels). We didn't get to use either of the two pools, but they seemed welcoming. Brett was a kind host and met us at the gate when we arrived and even recommended some great places to eat. My husband and I needed a little extra space traveling with the baby and my mom (grandma); we would have had to get 2 hotel rooms. Grandma had a comfortable stay on the futon, and there is a walk-in closet in the bedroom that fit the pack-n-play we brought with the doors open, so our baby even had her own little room! She sleeps much better in her own space and slept 10-11 hours every night just like she does at home. Thanks, Brett for a home away from home for our baby's first out-of-state trip.
