A delightful place to stay in Prescott
August 31, 2015
This home is a true gem hidden in the downtown Prescott area. The house is so well stocked with everything you could need. Beds are very comfortable. House is located in a lovely upscale residential area only 1 mile from the courthouse and Whiskey Row. Loved the binder with all the information you would need about the area. Cherie is a delight to communicate with. Our time there for 4 days was so relaxing and certainly too short of time. Loved eating outdoors on the deck, using the BBQ, lovely landscaped property. Spent time hiking in the area and then came back "home". Very pet friendly - my dog loved curling up in the living room area, going for walks in the neighborhood, exploring the fenced yard. Will definitely plan to return in the future. A 5 star experience!!

Wonderful Home on the Hill

Wanted to get away for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday with friends. Found this wonderful and very affordable home just 1.1 miles from the Courthouse and Whiskey Row. We had such a great time just hanging around the house and relaxing. We can't thank you enough for sharing your home with us and look forward to booking it again when the Temps in the Valley become unbearable. Travis Douglas and Friends

Family Az vacation
April 22, 2014
I took my son, daughter, son in law and two granddaughters for a week vacation in Az. We were visiting my sister in Prescott but she could not house the six of us. I found this house on line and it was perfect for us. The location was great. It was well stocked with kitchen utensils and cooking gear. The bedrooms were comfortable and we all had enough room to relax after busy days exploring Arizona. We loved the fact that there were DVD's for the kids to watch and games to play. The price was reasonable and certainly the best way for a family of our size to travel. All and all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing I heard any grumbling about was the lack of water pressure(may have been an Az thing since they have had no rain) and the lighting seemed dim (may have been my 69 yr old eyes). Definitely would stay there again on future trips.

Lovely older home and the owners provided absolutely everything needed to have a comfortable stay....even to placing a chocolate for each of us in a dish in the kitchen !! Upper bedrooms very roomy, lower bedroom a bit cramped, but doable. Plenty of dishes so we could run the dishwasher every other day instead of daily. Also provided was a binder chock full of info for the surrounding area. Would gladly stay again.

College Graduaton Week
May 11, 2013
From the moment we arrived to the rental we all felt at home, relaxed, and welcomed! All of the arrangements leading up to the rental were professionally and quickly addressed which made the distance and time between planning and arriving so much smoother than I had anticipated. The weather was amazing, the house so perfect for our daughter's graduation party, which went off without a hitch! Everyone kept asking if it was our house and said they enjoyed the location, comfortable set-up, and had a great time! The only suggestions I would offer are to have more outdoor trash receptcials and to improve the water pressure in the bathrooms if at all possible. Other than these, we had an amazing time and look forward to comming back next year for another graduation! Thank you so much. Mary & Paul Michetti

Cozy and Homey
August 10, 2012
Thank you Cherie and Jack for the use of your wonderful historic home. The antique furnishings and accessories really made it very homey. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and we had everything in the kitchen to cook our meals. The house stayed nice & cool even when it got 90 in the afternoon, with the fans. There are 2 window a/c units in the dining room/living room but we only turned them on a few times. We slept great at night with the ceiling fan & windows opened.....it even got cold. We loved the location on a nice residential street with places to walk. It was very close to town yet was very quiet and peaceful. Cherie was a pleasure to work with before & during our stay. When our 3 weeks was over, we really didn't want to leave!

My friend & I loved the house. It came with all the amenities you can think off. It is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood but only it is 20 minutes walking distance from downtown Prescott. I had a fabulous time living in total comfort. I would definitely rent this place again when I'll visit Prescott the next time.

This charming house gives even more joy then you would already expect from reading the description in the add. It is situated in a beautiful area of Prescott with much green and many trees. Driving up the driveway you are greeted by a friendly frog sitting on a small bench. Once in the house you discover one by one all the lovely, picturesque decorations such as little bears on small chairs, flowers, paintings. You feel immediately at home. In the colder winter days a big fireplace adds to the ambiance. The house is on walking distance from the centre of Prescott where you find the local, rustic restaurants, bars and art gallery’s. The house is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We will certainly come back. PS: who knows what happens if you kiss the frog.....

Perfect! Wonderful! Will definitely do it again!!

This house was wonderful! My friend, boyfriend, and brother and I stayed there in December and they couldn't stop praising me on my decision. It fit us perfectly, we each got a bedroom, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there was plenty of firewood to make cozy fires in the fireplace to relax next to. Cherie was very helpful and friendly, and attended to any needs we had. The area was beautiful, and conveniently located within walking distance of the historic town. We all had a blast and wished we could've stayed longer! Next time we're ever in Prescott we will definitely stay here! Thanks Cherie!!

Really enjoyed our mid-week stay. The house was everything we needed. We will be back! Great location for walking and close to downtown and dining. If you like to cook in it is all there. The owners were very helpful and accomodating...answered every phone call. A bonus was the wireless internet!
