Reviews for this vacation villa rental in San Juan, North, Puerto Rico
I'd Stay At this Villa Everytime I Visit San Juan!
August 16, 2013
Three friends and I stayed at Villa Oceania during our vacation to Puerto Rico in August 2013. First, the process of renting/reserving the house was extremely hassle-free. This was important to me and my group as we had never done this sort of rental before for a vacation. Secondly, upon our arrival at the house, we found that everything was nice, recently renovated (in the last 3-4 years), and exactly as the pictures portrayed. All of the rooms were clean and comfortable, but the crown jewels of the home were definitely the master bathroom and the very open kitchen/living room area. My group and I spent the first two hours of every day just lounging on the couch, recapping the day/night before. The owner of the home is extremely organized, providing a guest guide that contained ideas for things to do and places to visit during our stay, and we found the location of the house to be very convenient to several hot spots in San Juan (e.g., all the bars/restaurants in Old San Juan, Plaza Las Americas, La Placita and Club Brava). Villa Oceania is literally a 10-15 minute cab ride away from everything in San Juan and walking distance to a nearby group of restaurants and bars (Tiguey, Levi's, and a cool little pizza spot that I'm forgetting the name of now). In short, I would stay at Villa Oceania every time I visit San Juan. :)

Villa Oceania was ideal for us
February 16, 2013
We were looking for a clean, comfortable home with three private bedrooms before leaving on a cruise. This home delivers. The internet has 64 bit security and the TV is a large flatscreen. There is a private patio off the living room. The owner provides good documentation about area amenities and the nearby beach is long and beautiful. It is a safe and secure community with nearby buses if you don't have a car. It is not accessible for the fully handicapped but OK if you can manage a step or two up.

Christmas in Ocean Park
January 3, 2011
Our family of 5 including 3 children ages 11, 8, and 4, spent 2 weeks at Villa Oceania for our Christmas vacation. We were pleased with the ease of the reservation and payment process and with the detailed information provided by the owner before our arrival. Nazli always answered our emails promptly and with clarity. We had no problems finding the property with the directions provided. The home was clean and looked just like it did in the pictures, except for some wear on the furniture. The location was a 5 minute walk from a beautiful beach, Ocean Park, which is a public beach and frequented by local kite surfers. It also was next to a park which has a running track and playground which our children enjoyed. The home has an electric gate and we were always careful to lock the doors, but never felt unsafe. Police cars patrol the neighborhood often which we thought was comforting and many neighbors have dogs which we did not find bothersome. We did experience one power outage for about 2 hours during a heavy rain storm, but we found it to be an adventure to eat by the light of our battery powered laptop. We enjoyed the location for its proximity to Old San Juan as well as Condado and Isla Verde. It was the perfect base camp of operation for our 2 week stay. We felt we had a much more cultural experience of Puerto Rico than if we had stayed in a hotel, and that was what we were after. We would stay at Villa Oceania again and we would recommend it to others.
Perfect place for family get together
January 1, 2010
We spent a couple of days over Christmas at Nazli's house. It was perfect for a family get together with young kids. The place was a walk to the beach as well as kids play ground. It was an easy cab ride into Old San Juan. The house was very modern, well furnished and very tastefully done. It was great relaxing in at the end of the day. Nazli also was very quick in getting an air conditioner fixed in one of the rooms. We would definitely recommend this place to others.
My family had a wonderful stay at Villa Oceania. The owner was gracious and always extremely responsive to all messages; she even went out of her way to drop off a high chair so my 18-month-old girl would be extra comfortable.
The house is spacious and airy. It never felt cramped for a family of four (even with 2 energetic kiddos). Villa Oceania is decorated tastefully and the amenities are complete and modern which contributed to a relaxing and fulfilling stay.
I loved that we could open the doors to the house and let the kiddos run around the gated and secure house. The location was perfect too! The house is situated 1 block from the beach and is close to a huge park with a play area for kids and a running track. Villa Oceania is in Ocean Park - a desirable location with lots of great restaurants and cafes. It’s very central to other parts of the city-just a short drive to old San Juan, Santurce and a walk away to Candado and Isla Verde.
We loved San Juan and staying at Villa Oceania really contributed to our fantastic family trip. We would definitely stay there again (and really hope to return next year!).

The villa was perfect for our girls vacation to Puerto Rico! It had plenty of room for the 6 of us with beautiful furnishings and it was a great place to relax after exploring the island all day. It was also centrally located between freeway access out to Fajardo and into Old San Juan. We even did a few loads of laundry and made a few of our meals at the villa since the kitchen had everything we needed....including wine glasses! We would definitely stay again when we come back to Puerto Rico.

My husband and I just got back from our trip on the island. We looked at many properties to rent out for the week and found this property to be exactly what we were looking for. This trip was for six friends and all of which have never been to Puerto Rico.
It was easy to find, in a great location, and blocks away from the beach! The villa was immaculant and master bathroom was luxurious. They provided beach towels and lawn chairs as well as plates, cups, everything to make our stay more like home and less like a hotel. The best part of our trip were the breakfast that we were able to cook ourselves and share together.
Taxis were easy to come by and not far from the other sightseeing locations. The ocean park beach was not exactly the best beach and the villa was hard to find out how to get out of the gated community and around the park but once you figured it out it was easy to get around.
Nazli, the owner, was excellent. She was professional with easy communication and had printed out a great guide with taxi, restaurant, and sightseeing information. We would definitely rent this house again in the event of our return. Thank you for an excellent stay!

"My wife, son and daughter-in-law really enjoyed our recent visit to the Villa. It exceeded our expectations and lived up to every photo. The room air conditioning units worked exceptionally well in keeping us all cool and comfortable. The kitchen had everything in the way of appliances to let us prepare several "eat in" meals. The beds were just right for good sleeping.
We felt very private and secure and just a short ride by car or taxi to the airport, shopping, restaurants and the local San Juan tourist attractions.
We're not sure when our travels will get us back to San Juan but the Villa will be the place we would check out first for availability. Our host Nazli was very gracious in seeing that we were properly oriented to enjoy all of the features of the Villa."

"Villa Oceania is a beautiful modern home with an excellent location. Very easy to walk to the beach and very convenient to the San Juan area. Our experience with the owner was great! She is there for you and more. Also this place is super clean! I would definitely stay there again."
"Villa Oceania es una casa bella y moderna con excelente localizacion. Es muy facil caminar a la playa por que queda a solamente dos bloques de ella. Si quieres estar cerca de todas las atracciones en San Juan no vas a tener ningun problema. Nuestra experiencia con la duena fue muy placentera. Definitivamente nos quedaremos denuevo cuando tengamos la oportunidad."
