Make yourself at home outside with a big wood-burning fire pit and two large outdoor dining tables with chairs, all surrounded by a lush and secluded fenced-in backyard. But it is the views from the front of the house that command the most attention. You will find no prettier property in which to relax and enjoy the sun setting behind the majestic Puget Sound and surrounding Olympic mountain range! Comfortable natural material & fibered furniture and hardwood floors throughout make your stay luxuriously comfortable.

The gourmet kitchen will inspire the chef in you so go ahead and indulge your culinary dreams! Whip up your new and favorite recipes on a six-burner gas stove, convection oven, built-in warming tray, microwave, food-processor, Kitchen Aide mixer, blender, two outdoor grills (gas & charcoal), rice cooker, ice cream maker, pasta machine, fish poacher, etc … the house comes equipped with most any cooking device you can think of. Our gourmet kitchen has prep space for 3-4 people, a large marble-topped island with pub-height seating for four, and a finely tooled formal oak table that expands to seat 2-16 people.

This luxury home is flexible to fit any group whether large or small; the home may be configured to accommodate two to fourteen people as needed. This property has three floors. The top and middle floors have two full bedrooms, a grand master bath with double sinks, shower, tub, and vaulted ceiling. The middle floor accommodates the living, dining, gourmet kitchen, and a powder room. There are two extra large sofas and an enormous window seat with 7" pad for additional sleeping options.

For larger gatherings, you may expand your accommodation by adding the lower level, which includes large living, dining, sleeping areas, heated floors, and bathroom with walk-in shower. Extra beds are provided upon request and there is a soft, leather sofa in the downstairs area for guests. On the same floor there is also one extra bedroom with a powder room. You have the option to add the lower floor large room and/or the extra bedroom. This arrangement allows flexible and easy accommodations for up to 15 adult guests.

This property is beautifully landscaped for special intimacy and privacy. A 6-foot tall fence and 15 to 18 foot tall trees serve to provide you comfort and privacy. A huge dogwood tree surrounded by hand-dug flagstone welcomes travelers with handsomely designed dining area and a hand-stacked fire pit. This secluded backyard offers house guests a large hand poured and designed patio (17’x25’), two outdoor tables to seat 15+ guests and two BBQ grills (gas & charcoal), to perfect the outdoor living experience for you and your guests.

All bedrooms feature beds with quality mattresses and pads, high-grade linens, sitting area, large dresser, and/or closet with organizers. The main floor and the downstairs living areas have flat screens with Netflix and full cable (HBO, Showtime, Encore, and 100+ cable TV channels), as well as high-speed wi-fi. Washer and dryer, with two irons and boards. The home is stocked with card & board games for ages 1 to 99, toddler toys, sporting equipment (please inquire for specifics), magazines, and dozens of books. On street parking is free and readily available and the bus stops 15 feet from the front door.

Quick, easy freeway and Metro bus access to your destinations. 10 minutes to Downtown (Pike Place, Seattle Center, Nordstrom, Barney’s, Macy’s, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Space Needle/IMAX/3D Cinemas, museums, stadiums, theater, Woodland Park Zoo, Bathhouse Theater, and Lake Union (Amazon & Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center). 15 minutes to University of Washington, UW Hospital and Medical Center, and Northgate Mall. 20 minutes to Boeing and Microsoft Headquarters. Within a quarter to half-mile radius from four grocery stores (QFC, Whole Foods, Metropolitan Market, and Albertsons) and a Bartell’s Pharmacy is in the neighborhood. This property can be configured/rented as follows:

OPTION ONE: (One floor) Bottom floor only (five beds, one couch, sleeps up to 9 adults); full bath plus powder room.

OPTION TWO: (2 floors) Main & top floors only (2 bedrooms & 2 couches, sleeps up to 7 adults); Master bath with double sinks and powder room.

OPTION THREE: (Three floors) Entire house (sleeps up to 15 adults, 2 full baths plus 2 powder rooms)

Holiday weekends will be more expensive if you are staying less than 5 days.

REQUIREMENT TO RENT: Please treat the property, furniture, and furnishings as you would your own home. At time of reservation, the paying guest must provide valid, government issued identification and be not less than 21 years old at time of confirming a reservation. If a guest(s) younger than 21 years of age are on the property the guests(s) reserving the home must be present on the property during the entire time such under-age guest(s) is present.

PAYMENT: PayPal is the preferred method of payment because it protects both the Guest and Host. Because not everyone uses PayPal, a cashier's check or money order may be used for payment if Host approves in advance and the payment is received on the date payment is due.

RESERVATIONS, RATES, DEPOSITS & PAYMENT SCHEDULE: To secure your reservation a deposit must be paid upon receipt of your Reservation Confirmation Contract & PayPal invoice. The remaining balance is due one week later. If your reservation is made less than 30 days prior to your check-in, 100% payment is due upon receipt of invoice.

If you cancel your reservation and we are able to re-book your dates all of the monies paid by you are refundable except for the difference in the rental rate or $100, whichever is greater, and any PayPal fees incurred by Owner.

CLEANING & DEPOSIT INFORMATION: Your invoice will itemize your cleaning and deposit amounts. Cleaning charges range from $140-$280. Reservation deposits are $500-$750.

This home was a lovely place to stay while visiting Seattle! The owner, Jan, went out of her way to accommodate our party of six, including a baby and a toddler. The home is stunning and is located in a beautiful area with easy access to all the places we were interested in visiting. One difference we found from the previous rental by owner we had used was the fact that Jan lives in the home while you are there. This was not uncomfortable in the least, as she definitely gives you your "space", while being very gracious, friendly, and attentive to your needs. There are two dogs and a cat living in this home, but they are kept in a separate area, so no bother at all. (Just a "heads up" in case of allergies.). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home and would definitely stay here again! Thanks again for everything, Jan!!

The property is spacious, comfortable, and convenient to get to all the Seattle hotspots. The owner is friendly, helpful, and extremely gracious! We were provided with lists of things to do and local places to go. The location has neighborhood look and beauty, but has a city feel with its city accessibility and proximity to stores. Water is visible from the property, and great sights of the city skyline and Puget Sound can be experienced from an extremely short drive or walk. We were able to make convenient day trips to Orcas Island and Olympia National Park. Mt St Helens and Rainier are accessible as well.
