Siesta Key, Florida is an outdoor lover's paradise! If water sports are your passion, look no further. Fishing, swimming, parasailing, dolphin-watching charters, sunset cruises, and golf are all
available on Siesta Key.
The beaches on Siesta have the reputation of being some of the most beautiful in the country. In 1994, Crescent Beach was honored by Cond''' Nast Traveler magazine as having the "whitest, finest sand in the world." If you have had your fill of the sunshine (doubtful!),
cross one of the two bridges connecting Siesta Key to Sarasota, and enjoy the cultural center of Florida's universe.
If the shopping bug bites you, take John Ringling Drive over
Sarasota Bay to Lido Key. There you will find St. Armands Circle, a European-flavored outdoor shopping area with more than 145 exclusive shops and boutiques. Several fine restaurants and ice cream parlors also line the streets. A horse-drawn carriage ride around the circle is the perfect evening treat.
Of course, Sarasota is also a perfect spot for a more active
vacation. Whether you want to fish, parasail, windsurf, snorkel, scuba, or relax on a sun soaked beach, Sarasota is the place to be! And with more than 60 area golf courses, why not play a round while you're at it'
If you want to see the Gulf, but also say "hi" to Mickey, Sarasota is only about 100 miles from Disney World, Epcot, Sea World, and all the other Orlando attractions.
So take a trip to Florida's cultural epicenter. Like so many others, you might come for a visit, and stay for a lifetime!
Sarasota, Florida has long been referred to as "the Cultural Center of Florida." The Sarasota Ballet, The Asolo Theatre, The Sarasota Opera, The Florida West Coast Symphony, The Sarasota Film Festival, and numerous museums and theatres all add to its reputation as a community rich in cultural achievement.
Disney less than 2 hours away.

This is a place not to miss. The beach is rated #1 for a reason.. the sand is out of this world and swimming in the ocean in hot weather was just so much fun. We stayed in unit C16 of Casa Blanca and this unit had everything needed and promised. Don't hesitate to rent.

Casa Blanca Condo. Review

Though there was a problem with the shower leaking, the staff was quite hospitable and quickly moved us to another available condo (much nicer and modern). Great views. Very clean and taken care of.

We loved our visit here! Although the villas are pretty close together, we had privacy and it was quiet. The villa is nicely furnished, very comfortable and has pretty much everything you would need (no computer, so bring your lap top if you think you'll need it). Bring your own paper towels as none were supplied, also only a single roll of t.p. was supplied. It's not like a hotel where everything is replenished daily! We enjoyed the screened-in porch (lanai) for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. There is a very nice pool on the premises with comfortable chairs scattered around it. The beach is amazing, so beautiful and I would suggest catching every sunset you can -the week we were there was a guy who played "Taps" from his 3rd floor apartment on his bugle. The sand is so fine, just like sugar. Sit on the beach and watch the dolphins swim by - so cool. Did we like it? You bet! Would we go back? Absolutely! Want a little piece of heaven - this is it!
