Cozy & peaceful escape

March 27, 2015

My wife and I have stayed at here several times and cannot stop raving about it. We love to escape here from busy NYC life. It's close to the slopes in the winter (just a 20 min drive or so) and if we are up for some shopping, Manchester, VT is only a short drive away. In the summer, there are hiking trails all around, but it's just nice to stay at the cabin and enjoy being secluded from everyone. I recommend this place to my family and friends because it's great year around.

Romantic get-away from NYC

February 17, 2015

My girlfriend and I decided to take a couple of days off from work and wanted to leave the City so we looked for rentals not too far away but still in the nature. We found the Wyvernel and contacted the owners, a very nice young couple. Contact was super easy and very friendly and upon arrival they had prepared everything. They showed us around the house and all amenities and explained how the fire place worked. Yes, a real fire place, making the evenings very cozy! The interior made us feel homey and the sun deck outside is perfect for some late summer dinners. I would recommend going there by car, public transport seems to be scarce. Overall, great place, very romantic and perfectly suited for a getaway in the nature!

Peaceful and fun weekend

February 17, 2015

I loved the cabin, it's really cozy and homie. I was delighted to be in touch with nature, sitting outside with the fire and eating bbq...and being able to be very comfortable and warm in the house by the fireplace. The bathroom and kitchen where just remodeled, and had a contemporary clean feel...which is very important for me!! The cabin has everything we needed to have a great weekend among friends, and the guide provided by the owners was perfect, we got to go around and try local delicious products, do some relaxing yoga and have dinner and breakfast in local places. I really recommend the cabin!!! It's simply beautiful!

Cozy Country Winter Getaway

February 17, 2015

Loved our stay is this beautiful and cozy cabin. Stayed with a group of friends. The drive from Boston is absolutely beautiful through the mountains and the cabin itself is located in a very private location in Shaftsbury VT. It is a short drive from Stratton Mountain where we enjoyed some great skiing. Also, in the area is Manchester where you can do some serious shopping at the outlets or grab some dinner/drinks at one of the many restaurants in the area. The kitchen in the cabin has everything that you need to cook in as well as use the grill which is what we did so we went to the local supermarket (Price Chopper) in Bennington which is really close by and enjoyed our dinners by the warm fireplace in the heart of the cabin. I loved sleeping in the loft bedroom because of all the windows surrounding it where the view of the snowfall, the trees and the sky is spectacular. I highly recommend this place to enjoy the skiing season but also be able to explore the many local attractions of this area of Vermont outside of the skiing resorts.

Cozy and comforfable, nestled in lovely Vermont

February 12, 2015

The cabin provides all the comforts of a country home, with an exceptionally well equipped kitchen. The surroundings are gorgeous. The fireplace takes center stage and a supply of logs was conveniently provided for all the stay. Great beds and linens. Very conveniently located close to charming Bennigton and Manchester, and a short drive to top ski resorts.
