Perfect Mountain Vacation Home
September 23, 2013
I stayed here with my Fiancee in May for about a week. As soon as we arrived we fell in love with with the shape and the feel of the house. It's a round house with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. We noticed what appeared to be new renovations made to the house that made it smell like a new home, which we loved! The kitchen is spectacular with lots of counter space for food prep (for those rare occasions we ate at home), really nice appliances and all the home-y feeling decor you could want. The living room is pretty big, too, and best of all has a ~40" LCD TV and a surround sound system, which is awesome for playing music with your phone over Bluetooth! The bedrooms were very cozy and the beds comfortable. The master bathroom is really nice and new, and even the guest bathroom is modernized, too. The house also looks perfect, just like a mushroom on the side of the mountain, which actually (come to find out) is why the area of the mountain is called Mushroom Park! After looking at other rentals available in the same area, we chose this one because of the modern features that were combined with the cozy mountain home feeling. The house even has a wrap around deck with an awesome view. Also, the location is perfect because it's very close to the entrance of the mountain, so you can skip the winding trip up and down the mountain, but not too low as you still get a great view from the living room. We will definitely make plans to come back in the future. Not only is the house great, but the local eats and activities are plentiful. There is even a Sushi restaurant called The Sushi Club right down the road! The locals are also very chill and laid back. Perfect vacation spot for us! Highly recommend!
