Our beautiful 22-acre property has an alfalfa farm at the front of the property where our larger cabin (a log home), is a stone's throw from our 3-acre pond.
Our log cabins are nestled next to the Army Corp of Engineers ground in central Illinois. This provides many opportunities for nature walks and bird watching.
We have a hobby farm of Hammy our pot-bellied pig. 3 pygmy goats who love to eat and the addition of 2 very fluffy bunnies.
Feel free to putter up to the house in the golf cart, fish (need a license), ride bikes, build a camp fire and more.
We are now booking both cabins. We book all year round. Plus, we are also moving into renting the property for reunions, church retreats, weddings and music concert/festivals. Please check out our FB page for the current updates.

The Zombro stay at Coyote Cabin
October 12, 2015
We just got back from our 18th trip to Coyote Cabin in Sullivan, Il. This is our favorite get-away place! While the cabin is all log, interior and exterior, it has everything to make your stay comfy and very cozy. Full kitchen, living room, bathroom, 2 bedrooms. The only thing you need to take are your clothes and food, everything else is provided, such as towels, blankets, sheets, pillows, coffee pot, etc. It's an amazing place to relax for a night, or as long as you want. The owner, Jackie Cisna, has put this little gem on the map, it's worth the drive! Located just outside of Sullivan, Illinois, the scenery is country, theres is a pond for fishing, places to walk, and just down the road from boat access. If you are looking for a place to wind down, meet with family/friends, spend a special occasion, or if you are looking for a place to tie the know, look no further than Coyote Cabin.
The lodge was great!

We stayed for a week while visiting relatives from out of town. I have a large family, and a hotel room just doesn't do us justice, so I went searching for a rental property. I'm sure glad I did! There were plenty of beds, and everything was provided including dishes, pots and pans, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer. There weren't many times that we were left in need of something unless it was to run to the local convenience store to grab something. The kids really enjoyed the animals on the property, which included goats, potbelly pigs and a rabbit. They also had a couple of dogs. The rottweiler was out playing the first morning when we awoke, and the kids went outside to play ball with her. She was a real sweetheart. Jackie was a pleasant host. She came to meet us the first night and waved in passing the rest of the time we were there (they live right next-door to the lodge). Thanks for a great visit! We'll probably do this again soon!

We were looking for a cabin or at least a secluded area to meet up with some old friends. We found that at coyote cabins. Not only was it a beautiful property but the hospitality that was shown was amazing! We will definitely be going back there for sure!!

Memory of a lifetime

We won this trip thru Hydro-Gear's "United Way". We automatically thought, "this would be something we could do with my brother and his wife". My brother is battling prostate cancer and has been going thru a lot. So, we wanted to take him just to get away from all that. And it was Wonderful. We fished and just hung out and enjoyed each others company. It was just so peaceful and relaxing, we had no worries or cares. The cabin is beautiful and very cozy. The goats were a sight, kept wanting to eat everything. We had to scold them like our own children lol. We didn't want to leave. We are going to try and do this again. Thank you for this wonderful memory, I will always have.

Coyote Cabin Lodge is the perfect place to stay when you want to have some "get away" time with family. The lodge is absolutely beautiful in every way. The pond is amazing and the use of the paddle boat lets you see just how beautiful it is! This beats camping hands down!!! My Children, Grand Children and I had a wonderful time relaxing and spending quality time together! Jackie and her "crew" do an excellent job making sure you only have to use your time to make memories! A plus for us is that it is close to home, but, you feel like you are miles away. Made reservations for our next stay before we left. This is a great place get away! I think everyone near and far should consider if you want a place to relax and have fun!
Peaceful and relaxing!

We had a wonderful time during our stay! So quiet and peaceful. We just relaxed and watched the world go by on the giant front porch. We did a little fishing. We took our dog along and she had a ball running and playing. The lodge was so comfortable everything we needed. I loved having 2 bathrooms. We had 2 teenagers with us lol. The teens slept in the loft and loved it. Open yet some privacy. There was plenty of room to sleep probably 10 people. Would be a lovely place for a wedding or family gathering. We rented the pontoon boat one day and all we had to do was climb aboard. Such an enjoyable visit can't wait to visit again! The hosts took such good care of us. It was wonderful having our meal in the crock pot the first day! Try it! You will love it! As stated, it was a little piece of heaven!!!!!

Our fishing group stayed in the large cabin in May 2013. The cabin had all the conveniences of home and more. The large great room was awesome. We had ample parking and electrical hook ups for our fishing boats The hospitality was great and we were provided with a complimentary dinner when we arrived! We throughly enjoyed our stay and I would recommend Coyote Cabins to others
