This home is an Oceanfront home that sleeps up to 13 occupants; we offer a superior location with exceptional Ocean views. Please understand this home is not a newly constructed luxury condo.It is a clean and comfortable two family private beach cottage that has outstanding views of the ocean. We mention to make potential renters aware that you are not renting the Taj Mahal. A nail may pop up on the wooden deck from time to time and you may experience other little nuisances associated with a beachfront cottage. This said, we can assure you we will do all we can to make your stay safe and comfortable. We are committed to do whatever we can to make you vacation as enjoyable as possible.
We are located in the gated community of Oceanside Village, Surfside Beach, SC., which is approximately 4 miles south of Myrtle Beach, SC.
The home consists of 2 complete 2 bedroom apartments connected by a secured internal common entry door.
Each apartment contains a fully stocked (pots, pans, small appliances) kitchen.
Each apartment is equipped with a queen size sofa bed and sleeps a total of 13 occupants (7 upper - 6 lower) for the entire house. Wi-Fi throughout the house.

During the spring and summer seasons (April to mid-September) the home is rented weekly in its entirety as a 4 bedroom home that sleeps up to 13. The lower apartment sleeps 6 and the upper apartment sleeps 7.
During the winter season (October-March) the home can be rented monthly by apartment level.
The lower apartment is a little more spacious then the upper apartment; therefore the upper apartment usually rents for about 80% of the lower apartment. Both apartments are perfectly suitable for our yearly snowbirds.
Our goal is to offer our clients a beach front vacation at affordable rates.
Why rent this home:
Rent this home and you are at the ocean 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Dine on the balcony with a wonderful view of the waves and those great sounds of the oceans. Open up the downstairs double doors and have the ocean in your living room 24 hours a day.
This owner/manager is committed to making sure your vacation is as enjoyable and stress free as possible.
This is the only home that we manage and is our number 1 priority 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
The home is located in Oceanside Village; a great place to vacation with the private gated beach access JUST ACROSS THE STREET which is available to renters and their guests. The Conch Café is located directly beside the private beach access. The village has 2 pools (indoor and outdoor and 2 kiddie pools), 5 beautiful fishing lakes, tennis courts, basketball court, volleyball court and a brand new community center for entertainment. The outdoor pool is completely new for 2013 and includes a wonderful fun kiddie pool area!
For the avid fisherman, the Surfside Pier is located 1 mile north and the Garden City Pier is located 1 mile south of our home.
Enjoy a great fun day with the family at the water park located within 1/4 mile on Business 17. It is filled with great water slides, lazy river, wave pool, go-karts and miniature golf.
Our golfers can choose from the many tournament courses located throughout Myrtle Beach or have fun with the family playing miniature golf. Oceanside Village's own, Tupelo Bay, a full executive 18 hole course, lighted par 3 and driving range, 36 hole miniature golf course is located nearby on Business 17.
Wonderful seafood is just minutes away in Murrell's Inlet. Located nearby are many great shopping areas which include 'Broadway at the Beach', 'Barefoot Landing', malls, and outlet stores.
You will enjoy plenty of amenities to satisfy both children and adults in this beautifully decorated beach house. Morning coffee on either of 2 decks enjoying the ocean breeze. Your private beach access and free parking are steps from your door. Swim in the indoor or outdoor pools, each open until 10:00 at night. A new kiddie water park has been added by the community in 2013.
So many things to do:
Fish at the lake; basketball, volleyball, baseball, kickball, tennis, play horseshoes or bocce. Fully equipped gym; check out books at the library. 2 fully equipped kitchens, dine on the deck while watching the great Atlantic Ocean waves or at the beach front conch cafe just steps from your door. In the evening relax on either of 2 decks and watch the waves as the sunsets and the moon rises over the ocean or take a romantic walk along the shoreline at twilight. View beach fireworks while you lounge on the 2 large decks.
The home is equipped with 6 TV's including 2 HD large screen TV's for your enjoyment or get online with our free Wi-Fi. Step outside and watch the spectacular nightly fireworks from the decks or steps away on the beach!
Oceanside village is located in Surfside beach, considered the 'family beach.' it is located between Murielle's inlet, Garden City beach, and Myrtle Beach. All of the attractions, restaurants, and shopping of Myrtle Beach are a few minutes away.
This is a gated community with 24-hour security, and includes lakes, a playground, 2 pools (one indoor which is heated and accessible year-round, and one outdoor), kiddie pools, a community center, a library, and a fitness center with access available for $25/week.
Arcades, 24-hour fishing pier, ice cream parlors, and a giant water park are all within a short drive away.
Nearby attractions include several water parks, a large flea market, miniature golf, batting cages and many more attractions.
The rental cost does not include taxes (11%) and refundable security deposit, unless specified.
Area Information
Oceanside Village is a private, gated, “family friendly” community which offers amenities such as indoor/outdoor pools, large playground area, tennis courts ,volley ball courts, fitness center, baseball field, fishing, lakes and more.
The house is steps from the beach and offers one of only a few private homes with unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean in the area.
Our private beach is less crowded that Myrtle Beach, but is only a 5 minutes to Myrtle Beach! Relax on one of 2 decks and watch the moon lite Ocean in the evenings, have your morning coffee while watching the sunrise over the ocean. There are so many amenities and things to do without leaving the community.
There are only a few homes in this area that have unobstructed views of the ocean, and we are proud to say we have one of the best , if not THE BEST OCEAN VIEW.
The Conch cafe for Oceanfront Dining is steps from you door.
2 complete apartments are great for families to share the house and still have all the privacy of an individual home.
TV’s with cable and WiFi throughout the home.
Ownership cares about its clients and will do whatever possible to insure that you have the best vacation possible.
Many renters feel more comfortable bringing their own linens however if you would like to use our linens there is no charge but we require you to launder them and leave them in the same condition as you found them. If our housekeeping service must launder them there will be a significant fee deducted from the security deposit.

Wonderful Vacation

The home is just as advertised. Sits on a nice quiet cul de sac with plenty of room for the family. Cookouts on the deck with the ocean by your side is wonderful. Home is clean and comfortable and nicely decorated with a seashore theme. The homeowner is very accommodating and if there is a problem it is addressed immediately. The community pools are excellent and there is a great kiddie pool area. This was our 2nd visit to "our Little Slice of Paradise" and we will be back.

The home was exactly as advertised. Clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. There was plenty of room for the family. Cookouts on the deck were wonderful. We were able to walk onto the sand on a whim because we were so close to the beach. Experiencing sunrise on the beach was worth the price alone. The Conch Cafe is steps from the house and Oceanfront dining was splendid. The community is clean and the area is secure and quiet. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. We will be back.. .We spent our June 2013 family vacation in this house. It was perfect for our family of 11.
The view of the ocean is great on either deck. They have a little bar on the top deck that was perfect for sitting and enjoying a few nice cold beverages while looking out at the ocean. We grilled steaks and shrimp one night out on the deck. Having two kitchens was really nice since we had a large group. The resturant across the street is convenient if you dont feel like driving or cooking. The beds are comfortable and sleep well. This is a very nice house in a great location.A quick walk to the beach or drive to the private parking area for the beach ...just a few blocks away. We will stay here again and can't wait to get back!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children.

.The views were everything the owner said they would be. The area is packed with things to do even in the off season. The home was immaculate and the owner was very helpful and made the vacation very enjoyable. We will be back next year during the summer.

.We rented both units as we were 2 families looking to vacation together. The set up was perfect!!! We could all be together when we wanted but we also had privacy when needed. The house is beautiful (very bright and airy with all the windows) and furnishings are very clean and comfortable. The view is awesome and you are much closer to the beach than it looks in the picture! There is also a community pool that is fabulous for the kids! There is actually a small water park for babies through age 5 right next to the pool. My kids had a blast. The community itself is very nice, quiet. The owners were very easy to work with and we will definately be back to visit again!

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

.We had a large group (13) and thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. The proximity to the beach was so easy, just a walk across the street. We also went to the pools quite a bit and enjoyed them too. We had a large group from North Carolina, Michigan, Connecticut, and Mississippi. It was a great place to meet and we would definitely stay here again!

.This is a great house, plenty of room, accessories and just steps from the beach (maybe a 3 min. walk). Upper deck is a lovely nighttime spot. Kitchen has a LARGE table that is great for family dinners and board games. This was our 3rd stay at this location and we'll definitely be back again next year!

.My family and I had a great time and loved the beautiful house and the location. Directly across the street from the ocean made it very convenient. We had a total of 6 adults and 2 small children and we all had plenty of room. We also brought along our four-legged baby, "Ali"...our rottie...she enjoyed the home as well! We plan to stay here again in the future as the home and Oceanside Village are a great place to stay!

.My family of five and I stayed a week at this spacious home and never ran out of room. We even had my parents and my daughter's in-laws over for dinner and had room at the large table for everyone. The view is one of the best on the beach to be across the road. The pools were lots of fun, especially if you have children, which we did not have but still enjoyed. We were able to take our small dog (with an extra deposit paid) which was an advantage for us. The only drawback is that you may need to rent a golf cart or take a truck which can carry your loved ones and all their "stuff" back and forth to the pool if you plan to use it very much. The beach is within easy walking distance. The one disadvantage we found was that there is minimal closet space with no closet in the front king size bedroom. It was a very enjoyable experience. We even saw many geese, ducks and even ducklings wandering around the community!

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, sightseeing, families with young children.

.The view from this house is awesome from both decks, the house is comfortable and decorated with a beach theme. The house looks exactly like pictured, with comfortable furniture. We were a family of 6 and we were comfortable on both floors. I personally wouldn't have more than 10, but I like my space and like everyone to have a bedroom. It does have steps although the are only 6-7 at a time so the elderly or some with physical disabilities may have trouble maneuvering them. I had to help my parents on them. The owner Ernie is a gem to work with,, any concerns were handled efficiently. I recommend this rental to anyone wanting a relaxing vacation and we will definitely be back!!!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: When is the Security Deposit Returned?
A: Immediately after guests check out the home is cleaned and inspected; the condition of the home is then reported to management. When the home and contends are considered acceptable management mails a check to the guest on the next business day after check out. We return the complete deposit over 95% of the time in the most timely manner.
Q: Why don't you offer a golf cart?
A: The cost of proper insurance and maintenance for a golf cart would increase the cost of our rental. Also our community offers cart rentals at a price that is less expensive than we would be able to provide. We feel it is in the best interest of our clients to have this amenity as an option, also the need for a cart is diminished or eliminated because the beach is steps from our door.
Q: During what hours are the guards in the guardhouse? How do we gain admittance if there is not a guard at the guardhouse?
A: Oceanside Village has 24-hour security. A guard is in the guardhouse from 6:00 a.m. until 1:00 a.m. After that he is on patrol, but will return to the guardhouse within 5 minutes when summoned on the buzzer at the front entrance. The only exception would be if he was on an emergency call in the community.
Q: Is there extra parking available for cars when space is not available at the residence?
A: Yes, when space is available the community has overflow parking areas. However, during business hours you must obtain an overflow parking pass from the office or after hours from security.
Q: Where can the keys to the tennis courts be obtained?
A: Keys to the tennis courts can be checked out at the guardhouse. You must leave your driver's license while playing. Please return keys as soon as your game is over.
Q: How will I be sure the property is as advertised?
A: We try our best to keep the photos and amenities accurate and updated. If anything has changed, it is usually for the better, like a new flat screen TV or a new bedspread or new towels. We strive for complete satisfaction from each and every guest. That doesn’t mean that we guarantee everything will be perfect! The smoke alarm might start beeping, or the remote control batteries for the TV could die, or the person before you might have been watching their vacation pictures or video and put the TV on some weird setting so you can’t get the regular channels. I can guarantee that if you call us, we will make it right!
Q: Are linens provided?
A: Linen and towel service is available for an additional fee of $120. This service includes towels for each guest along with making all beds prior to arrival and stripping and laundering linens and towels upon departure.
There are linens in the house that you are welcome to use. Since this is a complementary service the condition of the linens is reliant on the way the prior rented left them.Although we strive to provide quality linens we cannot guarantee the condition of the linens, we do not have the resources to check each individual sheet and towel.
Q: How far are the pools from the home?
A: The pools are a short less than 10 minute walk from the home. Parking is available at the pools if you prefer to drive.
Q: What is the sleeping configuration of the home?
A: The lower apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a king bed. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room (total 6 overnight guests).
The upper apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with bunk beds that is a single bed over a double bed (total 7 overnight guests). .
Q: How far is the entrance to the beach?
A: The beach entrance is about 150 feet from the property. A leisurely stroll of a little over one minute.
Q: What is supplied in the kitchen?
A: There is a fully equipped kitchen on each level. Each kitchen contains: coffee maker, blender, toaster, dishes,pot,pans,utensils, range with oven, refrigerator and microwave. There is a dish washer in the lower level only.
Q: Bathrooms?
A: The lower level has one bath with shower and tub. The upper level has a full bath with shower and tub and a half bath with toilet and sink.
