Reviews for this vacation apartment rental in Tel Aviv, Israel
New York, NY USA
July 22, 2010
The apartment seemed to be in middle of renovation. There was strong smell of paint throughout the apartment, half painted wall in the master bedroom and half of the light bulbs were not working. The first night there we had flood in the master bedroom's shower. When I complained to the Landlord who lives in London his response was something in line with:" do not turn the water faucet all the way".Overall this would not be an apartment I would go back to. My children were so uncomfortable that I had to find an alternative housing for them for the period of time we werer staying in Israel. He did return 10% of my rental fee back as he had promised, but that did not nearly compensate me for my ruined vacation.

Pros: Good location and very quiet. Close to beach, shops and cafes. Cons: Very minimum furnishing included. No table, desk or chairs. One pot to cook with. Internet cable connection didn't work (it looks like short cord to cable box at one time had a wireless router attached which is no longer there) and connecting to wireless network was sporadic. Shower in master bathroom flooded bathroom whenever it was used. Apartment is cheaply constructed so that closet doors are hard to open and door knobs fall off in your hand. No directions or instructions were left in the apartment. So you are on your own to figure out how to use the heat, TV, appliances or throw out the trash or recycling. I would not rent this apartment again.
